Earlier this week, we were delighted to be invited to present at this year's Sports Loft Summit as part of a cohort of organisations shaping the future of sports technology. It was a fantastic day with many of the leading tech companies, broadcasters, sports teams and leagues contributing to a well-curated series of discussions. Congratulations to Charlie Greenwood, Andy Selby, Daniel Smith and Yanni Andreopoulos, we're looking forward to next year already.

Spiideo made the Financial Times list of Europe's fastest-growing companies for a fourth consecutive year. https://lnkd.in/dGkJu26D We use technology to create opportunities for the sports industry at all levels: capturing training/games without a trained camera operator, providing high-impact video and data, a cloud-based video management and analysis platform, integration with third-party tools to simplify elite workflows, and creating affordable live broadcasts where there is no manual production. It empowers coaches to develop talent, teams to realize goals and athletes everywhere the chance to be seen. Next up: three days in Düsseldorf to talk future sports performance and broadcast tech at SportsInnovation 🇩🇪

The world of sports is changing rapidly so join us on 12 June for GCV's Next Wave webinar with Chris Traeger, Executive Director at Boomtown Accelerator, and Kerry Carter, CEO, Atavus Moderator, in discussion with Fernando Moncada Rivera, Senior Reporter. https://lnkd.in/eyyAekCw Convergence with media and gaming has been revolutionizing how audiences consume and interact with sports, and technologies that are initially developed to help athletes on the field or court are routinely expanding to mass audiences. The investment landscape is ripe with opportunities cutting across multiple sectors, and the savviest investors are looking to redefine the boundaries between sports technology, performance, and entertainment. But where are the best opportunities for investors? Where is the smart money going and what is still pie-in-the-sky? My advice for the next wave of sports rights-holders, teams and federations in revolutionising live strategies 👇 Study what is working for creators. Each week, I find myself speaking to traditional rights-holders and federations who have seen the work we do on YouTube ‘watch-alongs’ for the likes of The United Stand, and are inspired at how they can replicate this themselves. These fan first platforms aren't just changing the game, they're defining a new one, where engagement, interactivity, and community are the cornerstones of the fan experience. I’ve seen first-hand how quickly live teams can go from being stuck in ‘old ways’ of production, to beaming with new ideas to freshen up their broadcasts. They are even more surprised when they realise how easy our tech is to implement, and that it’s cheaper than the legacy tech they are currently using. The fact that even the most traditional sports are expanding their horizons is exciting. I like working with those who want to stick the neck out and challenge the content norm. #sportsbiz #sportsindustry #broadcast

It always has been and always will be about a love for sports. A little over 10 years ago we (Hy Gal, Aviv Arnon and Shmulik Yoffe) decided to embark on a mission to change the way people consume sports as we saw the influence social media and digital platforms will have on the sports industry and together with an amazing group of people managed to build the industry standard in creating video highlights at scale using AI, even before saying AI was cool. Today, we work with over 460 sports organizations worldwide and see ourselves as partners - our aim is to help them be successful and grow. In the last few years we have continuously seen consumption habits change drastically in such a way that we have seen a major impact on the sports industry. As sports organizations are trying to go more and more ‘direct-to-consumer', getting to know their fans and connecting with them through content on every platform they are on has become critical. As we continue on our quest to change the way fans consume sports, I am excited to announce our next evolution as a company, going even bigger and expanding our offering to help sports organizations to connect with their fans through AI-tailored content experiences. From video highlights to any type of content, from only creation of videos to full distribution and fan-centric content on every platform and every experience, we are empowering sports organizations to provide a personalized content experience to their fans. This is where the sports industry is heading and all of us here at WSC Sports, are committed to continuing to lead, innovate and set the gold standard for how fans consume content. Learn more about what this means for us and our clients by checking out our latest release. Lots more to tell but for now, allow me to reintroduce ourselves: WSC Sports - Fuel The Fandom 🔥🔥🔥
