“Writer frees up a lot of brain space and time. I really appreciate that other people I work with feel empowered to start generating content. Beyond myself being able to think more strategically, Writer helps other people operate more autonomously.” -Kali Swenson, Lead Content Designer, Curology Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/gfY9Ay32

When you know the rules, you can break the rules.
Brand Voice Expert // Brand Ventriloquist® // Brand Voice Guide Specialist // Probably the best copywriter in my house
Dear Copywriters... Please remember that you were a "regular" writer first. There's an art to our science that we tend to forget. You didn't come here to Copy. You came here to Write. Don't let "best practices" dull your spark. It's ok to let passion drip from your pen sometimes... even if it's just for yourself.

An energy-focused marketer | Can turn every click on ads, emails, reels, or shorts into financially renewable resources.
The biggest mistake a rookie Copywriter makes is "Writing". WTH..? 🙄 YES, you heard it... Writing is the last thing you do! The first thing you do is AUDIENCE RESEARCH! You have to know your audience INSIDE OUT; 🔑Their pain points. 🔑What keeps them awake at night? 🔑What are their hopes and dreams that your offer can fulfill? 🔑What caused them to stop using the existing solutions of the market? 🔑 How can you be their Wingman? RESEARCH is your BBF & will give you an EDGE over the competition; 🏆When you have this research data there will be no Writer's block. 🏆You will be in a structural environment, where you just have to assemble the pieces and the content will be ready. This is the best advice I got from my mentors and experience.

It’s a real misconception. But, it’s vital you accept writer’s block as false. Get your thoughts down on paper. Go away. Come back. Edit. Edit. Edit. Over and over… Writer’s block is only in your imagination. Powerful writing is never complete after a first or second attempt. It takes countless revisions and alterations to perfect a piece of writing. It’s crucial you get on board with this understanding. It’s what elevated my writing game drastically. I hope it does the same to yours too! #ghostwriting
There is NO such thing as writer’s block. It’s not real. The cure to this imaginary “disease” is to write. Whenever you sit down to write, just WRITE. Write whatever comes to mind. As quickly as possible. Do not edit. Write fast and you’ll quickly pick up momentum. Only edit after you’ve finished your 1st draft. This is also the secret to becoming a better copywriter. Write lots of copy, every single day. - Gary Halbert

This ad would maybe work if I had actually been looking at stretching videos. But I wasn't. The context isn't remotely related to what I was watching, meaning the overall messaging left me confused and annoyed. I'm not a marketing writer, but all copy can find value in some #UXWriting principles: - Convey the message clearly - Provide relevant context - Showcase the benefits
