GFA employees are encouraged to dress down each Friday in exchange for contributing to the Casual for a Cause fund; employees then vote on local organizations quarterly to receive the contributions. The GFA team is PROUD to support two amazing organizations through our Casual for a Cause - Q1 donations - the Peterborough Food Pantry and the Levi Heywood Memorial Library in Gardner. #casualforacause #bettercommunitybanking

This Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to educate, bring awareness, provide resources, and be a positive force in the health and well-being of children, families, the poor and the infirmed, and the environment in Minnesota by providing funding, programming and other events and activities to further research and programs targeted at these communities. https://lnkd.in/g2dKJg3y

The holidays are the most important time of the year for fundraising when nonprofits raise the majority of their annual operating revenue. At Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, financial donations are down about 20% from where we were at this time last year, and the food bank is receiving donations from fewer donors. As we move into the final days of December, Second Harvest still needs to raise $4M by 12/31 to stay on track with its annual goal. A staggering 1 in 6 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties are turning to Second Harvest for support. That equates to Second Harvest providing food to an average of 500,000 people every month. Last month we served 520,000 people. It’s critical we make our goal and we are asking our community to donate what they can to help at https://shfb.online/hm2023 —every $1 can help provide enough food for 4 nutritious meals with our current match. #FeedingSiliconValley

🎁⛄Will the busy holiday season have you making multiple trips to Target for all the last minute meal supplies, gifts, and more? Did you know that every time you shop, you earn votes to support local nonprofits? 🎯 Now through December 31st, vote for FISH through the Target Circle program to help us earn a percentage of Target’s charitable giving this quarter.
