Dear LinkedIn Family 🤗 🤗 🤗 I had a reflection today asking myself if i had to wear a wig on top of my braids or just simply wear my braids to the office? 😁 💁♀️💇♀️ What does that have to do with financial inclusion, you may ask? 🤔 Feeling good about yourself, feeling good about your pocket aka wallet... Feeling good about yourself means feeling good about who you are 😍 ▪️It's not about race or skin tone: black, brown, fair, etc. 🎨 ▪️It's not about social capabilities: entrepreneur, employed, unemployed, etc. 💼 ▪️It's not about social status: single, married, widow. 💍 Feeling good about your pocket / wallet means feeling good about its content 😍 ▪️It's not about the money at your disposal: 100F, 200F, 1000, millions... billions... 💰 ▪️It's not about social capabilities: entrepreneur, employed, unemployed, etc. 💼 ▪️It's not about the economic sector: formal, informal. 🏢 In both cases, what matters most is knowing where you're coming from and where you're heading to. 🚀 Access to financial services is known as a factor of progress. 📈 What i mean by Progress here is first related to measurement against oneself. ▪️Who was I yesterday, who am I today, who will I be tomorrow? 👤 ▪️How much did I have yesterday, how much do I have today, how much will I have tomorrow? 💰 Access to a current account is the first step towards full financial inclusion. 🏦 It's about having the choice of a personalized authenticity within the infinite world of financial possibilities offered by technology, digitalization, and Internet. 🌐 Yes, wearing braids is as cool as the authenticity given through the infinite world of possibilities of Afro hair. 💁♀️💇♀️ Happy New Month of September to you All 🤗 🤗 🤗 #FinancialInclusion #Empowerment #Progress #DigitalTransformation #PersonalGrowth

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄........? Turning birthday party waste into wealth: the journey from insight to product idea. Last year, a simple observation led me down an unexpected path. ↪️ Watching my children, aged 4 and 7, attend birthday parties, I saw not just celebration but a cycle of wasteful gift-giving. 🔎 Amidst this, a spark of inspiration: parents pooling resources for meaningful, collective gifts. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮: Inspired by this insight, I envisioned a platform transforming every special occasion into an opportunity to secure a child's future financially. 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Observing unnecessary gift waste at children's parties and parents trying to overcome it. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺: It's super expensive being a parent making it difficult to save for your children. 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Parents with school-age children 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Enable friends and family to invest in your child's future. 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: Through desktop research, expert and user interviews, I dove into the challenges parents face in securing their children's financial futures. This wasn't about validating my ideas but genuinely understanding and empathising with my target audience's needs. 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: This journey of discovery led me to refine my hypothesis, adjusting my approach based on patterns, risks, and emerging insights, edging closer to a product that resonated with parents. 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: Opting for low-cost validation methods like surveys, targeted ads, and a prototype, I gathered crucial data. This process not only refined my proposition but also highlighted significant challenges within D2C FinTech, scaling through paid channels and the impact on short-term business model viability, leading to me pausing its progress. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Begin with a genuine insight into your audience's challenges. 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Deep understanding and validation are key to crafting solutions that matter. 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: The end of one journey might just be the beginning of another. Stay open to evolving your idea. Reflections and Moving Forward Though the project is currently on hold, the insights gained are invaluable, shedding light on broader wealth management challenges.

Happy New Year 2024! It's crucial to recognize that your actions in the new year will set the tone for how things will unfold. If you've previously tolerated late payments, disrespect, or any sort of nonsense, expect it to continue unless you make a change. You might find it necessary to end certain relationships to rebuild your environment to your liking. Lessons from 2023 include: First, be wary of those who continually mention people, places, or things you've left behind for better mental health or self-improvement; question their motives. Second, ensure clear terms when lending money or items to anyone, particularly if it involves equipment, like for a piece of equipment for their company or a vehicle. If they cannot get their own credit it is different from them needing to borrow from you. Contract! Third, be cautious of those who repeatedly make irrelevant comments in unsuitable settings, like someone constantly recalling your long walk due to a car breakdown in 1990 like it was yesterday. Fourth, watch out for people who boast about others' achievements as if they were their own, like repeatedly mentioning a cousin who's an artist when you are at museum in a tour group. Remember you have heard this 100 times. Fifth, avoid people who downplay your experiences and redirect conversations to trivial topics; if a difficult topic arises, suggest discussing it more in-depth later. Remember because it is a new year, 2023 will follow you good, bad or indifferent. Finally, this list isn't exhaustive, but if someone finds your concerns, thoughts or desire to move differently strange, remind them you're living your authentic life, as should they. #raggedyriri #tncpnews #tncpcan #authenticself #newyear

Leadership & Executive Coach 🗣️ | Helping Leaders Maximize Their Potential 🚀 | CEO of Leadership Coach Group
Today, I want to ask an important question I am recently reflecting on: What’s more important to you—saving money or living for the experiences? If you focus on saving first, you’ll build financial security now so you can enjoy life later without worrying about money. It’s all about being prepared for the future. But if you choose to invest in experiences, you’re making the most of your energy and freedom now—traveling, meeting people, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Both paths have their perks! But what would you choose? Excited to hear everybody's thoughts! #LifeChoices #FinancialSecurity #LiveForTheNow
