A common mistake involving adjectives and adverbs is using one in place of the other. For example: “I wish I could press my suit as neat as Spider-Man does” is wrong. The word should be neatly, an adverb, since it’s modifying a verb. “That’s real nice of you” is wrong because “real” should be “really”, an adverb, since it’s modifying an adjective. Remember that if you’re modifying a noun or pronoun, you should use an adjective. If you’re modifying anything else, you should use an adverb.
