Giant Noise’s Post

While driving through Buda, Scott Roberts of The Salt Lick BBQ discovered the beautiful Buda Mill and Grain - where his family's history runs as deep as the mill's century-old roots. Roberts decided something special needed to go in this historic space. Enter  Roxie's Buda (https://lnkd.in/gSBwxTKx), which we're proud to announce today, named after his grandmother, Roxanna Roberts. As Roberts tells it to Matthew Odam, if you were lucky enough to get an invite to Roxie's Sunday table after church, you knew - her fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and those unforgettable yeast rolls (mixed in a hollowed tree trunk!) were legendary in northern Hays County. Read Matthew's full story in the Austin American-Statesman on how the family behind The Salt Lick is opening a new comfort food restaurant in Buda. https://lnkd.in/gWY5b8Dm From grandmother Roxie's kitchen - every dish carries decades of love, tradition, and that unmistakable Texas charm. Small-town roots, big Texas heart - just like Roxie herself. Roxie's: opening Spring 2025 at Historic Buda Mill & Grain. 📍 308 Main Street, Buda, TX. A Salt Lick Family Restaurant.
