Individual Strength May Kill Team Spirit I enjoyed a video on bees building their hives. Bees have short life spans and yet they worked as a whole as if they were living for years to come. Every bee needs the other to build the hive and keep it clean. Working individually they all die; working collectively they survive. Shared need unified all of bees and led to a fascinating teamwork. We humans strive for individually and personal strength. To feel that you need others may insult some individuals and take away from their self-pride. We adore authenticity and be different. We want differentiation and strive for standing out from the crowd. We need to realize that there is no synergism in working alone. Working together may lead to synergism and soaring our productivity.
