Head of Human Resources | People & Culture | Organizational Development | People and Management | Transforming people who transform generations 💡

Last week, we had the honor of hosting the key global leaders of Munksjo at our Caieiras facility. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the Formobile fair, strengthen relationships with our main clients, conduct executive meetings, and present the business review. Following the presentation of the People area results, I gained valuable insights into the strategic role of HR, aligned with the business. The leadership feedback was positive, indicating that we are on the right path. They highlighted the engagement of our people and the team spirit. We initiated a Change Management process 18 months ago, and I would like to share some significant indicators from this period: 1. We increased female leadership representation in key positions from 30% to 44%, and the participation of women in production rose from 4% to 10% in the hiring of machine operators. 2. We conducted 100% feedback within the unit for performance evaluation and adherence to our values. Our turnover rate is just 1.7%, following some replacements of employees not aligned with our new culture. 3. We launched a career path for 100% of our employees, outlining the next steps in their journeys, with internal promotions at all levels. We implemented a Next Generation program with a 42% success rate for future leaders. 4. We established our leadership academy with the Munksjo Leader style, working diligently to build our succession pipeline through a talent-focused mindset. These actions led me to the following reflections: Move from the circle of concern to the circle of influence Stop fearing change and become an advocate for it Be open to a change in perspective Promote significant changes I believe our role as leaders is to create psychologically safe spaces, ensuring all voices are heard, and engaging in difficult conversations daily. This awareness is fundamental to building a culture of trust and collaboration. Thank you, Valmir Piton, Manfred Bracher, Anders Falkeström, and Michael Schirle, for trusting our work and believing that a team can achieve much more together! Thank you to the Munksjo Caieiras team for all your dedication. Together, we will build stronger and more sustainable results.

Congratulations Giorgia Kasat and team on these impressive achievements! Increasing female leadership, launching career paths, and establishing the leadership academy are significant milestones. This is a remarkable benchmark demonstrating the impact of strategic and participative HR in transforming the business.
