Simple. Real. Delicious. Amore. Italian cuisine draws people together, inspiring great conversations and a sense of belonging. Even strangers can become family when the flavors and aromas of Italy fill the mealtime table. Creating Italian meals that delight requires two primary elements: a love for food and family paired with a commitment to the highest quality ingredients. From selecting the ideal cheese and the perfect pasta to the ideal olive oil, the essentials must be in balance each and every time. At Arrezzio we celebrate these values every day, and we’re committed to supporting the craftsmen and women who share our passion, our dedication to the real art of Italian cooking. From staples to modern-day versions of old world classics, we consistently deliver robust flavors inspired by the villages and people of Italy. We embrace simplicity as the best way to deliver excellence. By marrying this firm foundation with our culinary talents and global reach, we’re able to exceed the expectations of our customers—the craftsmen operating the favorite local pizzeria, a fine dining experience, or a national chain—all of whom partner with us to carry on a rich tradition of making the world a better place through food. foodie.sysco.com

Guatemalan Mayan Cuisine is a delicious blend of Mayan and Spanish influences, with a sprinkle of African and Caribbean flavors thrown in for good measure. But to get a taste of the true Mayan Cuisine experience, there are a few dishes you simply must try: Kak’ik: This flavorful turkey soup is a specialty of the Q’eqchi’ Maya people of Alta Verapaz. The turkey is simmered in a rich broth spiced with achiote, coriander, and chiles, and served with small white tamales steamed in banana leaves. Kakik Guatemalan dish Pepián: Another contender for Guatemala’s national dish, pepián is a thick stew made with roasted meats (usually chicken or turkey, but sometimes beef or pork), vegetables, and a complex sauce of chiles, tomatoes, tomatillos, sesame seeds, and cilantro. It’s traditionally served with rice and tortillas.

My Gastronomic Sunday .............................................. On my Sunday of indulging in savory delights, Here's my culinary journey filled with mouthwatering treats. I always have been in a dilemma of whether I am a Chinese or Italian person in reference to food? When I was a child, I loved noodles. I remember watching cartoons showcasing chinese food and I loved watching them. Now, I'd rather go with pasta or probably pizza. 🍕 There's a lot of chinese food on my table but that's for my cousins, because I'm not very fond of it. Why? that's a nice question for me to answer or atleast food for thought. My afternoon began with a slice of piping hot pizza, ..its cheesy goodness and tangy tomato sauce tantalizing my taste buds. The rich aroma of tomatoes, olives, and garlic intermingling in slice with marinara sauce evokes a sense of comfort and familiarity that I simply cannot resist. While Chinese cuisine offers its own array of tantalizing flavors and textures, there's something about the rustic simplicity and robust flavors of Italian dishes that resonates with me on a profound level. Italian food speaks to my soul in a way that few other cuisines can match. I know culinary experiences are highly subjective, but a slice of pizza is my comfort food. ps: How can I forget my dear The Coca-Cola Company , you are my soulmate. What is your favorite cuisine? #gastronomicwriting #culinarywriting
