Will you have a student at home this summer? Are you already trying to prevent them from imprinting their body groove into the couch? Well, we’re here to help because we’re on the lookout for folks to join our squad of seasonal superheroes! It may look like a summer job, sure, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a chance to shape lives, make lasting memories, and you know, earn some very important bucks for the old chain wallet (kids still use those, right?) for that ever-desirable freedom. So, what have we got? 🤿 Dive into the lifeguard life and make some waves as aquatic instructors. 🏐 Become the ultimate recreation and culture ambassador – playtime has never been this epic! 🏅 Turn summer into a blockbuster hit as camp leaders and programmers. 🚣♀️ Navigate the waters as a waterway events attendant – a captain’s hat is optional but highly encouraged. 🤾♂️ Slam dunk into the world of sports as our sports camp leaders! And that's just the beginning! Your kids can discover their perfect job fit in #WellandON this summer. Oh, and did we mention they’ll get their first taste of contributing to a pension? That’s right, the fun continues off the courts and camps, and begs the question, “why is there another deduction on my cheque?”. It’s never too early to start planning for the future. Right? Right? Bueller? So, encourage those you know looking for seasonal employment to apply now. Don't miss out – check out the awesome opportunities at https://lnkd.in/gNd9Cg8s.

Today was a bit different than my usual work day. I had an opportunity to share a bit about my role as a Talent Acquisition Lead at ADM Interactive with the bright, enthusiastic, and energetic kids at my son's kindergarten. 🚀 Amidst the giggles, everybody jostling for a seat next to me, and the challenge of my son having a hard time sharing mom's attention, we went on a unique mission together - helping Paw Patrol 🐶 find a replacement for Skye, who's off to pursue her dreams abroad for university. 🌍 We drew parallels between this "pawsome" adventure and the world of talent acquisition. Just like finding the right pup to join the Paw Patrol, building strong teams is like piecing together a perfect puzzle. It's about discovering those unique qualities that make each team member special and contribute to the bigger picture. 🧩 Here's to the next generation of thinkers and dreamers and the valuable lessons we can learn from their unfiltered perspectives! 🌟 Let's keep fostering a culture where every individual feels like the missing piece to our team puzzle. PS! The content of this experiment was purely fictional. Skye is still in Adventure Bay and continuing as a unique team member of Paw Patrol. #TalentAcquisition #TeamBuilding #FutureLeaders

🏠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 360 | 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 | 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 🏠
My journey at Made Snappy 360 over the past 8 months has been a blend of hard work, valuable insights, and immense enjoyment. Initially, stepping into a senior role just two years post-university was daunting, but I couldn't have joined a more supportive team. Here are my key takeaways: 🙏 "Don’t ask for permission, beg for forgiveness." This motto from our CEO, Mark, embodies the trust placed in senior staff to make informed decisions aligned with our business goals. 📖 Continuous Learning: At Made Snappy, no question is too simple. The culture here encourages learning and growth, without judgment. 😥 Embrace Failure: Not every idea will succeed, but each failure is a learning opportunity. It's about growth and innovation. 🤜 🤛 Mutual Respect: Our team is diverse in age, experience, and roles. This diversity, combined with mutual respect, creates a harmonious and communicative work environment. 😂 Have a Laugh: The office is filled with laughter and banter. It’s a fun and happy place where everyone looks forward to coming to work. 🏠 Flexible Work Environment: Early on, I was offered the option to work from home two days a week to save on travel. This flexibility was initially surprising but quickly became a seamless part of my work culture. In summary, these past 8 months have been incredible. The team, the customers, and the role are all perfect for me, and I’m excited to continue growing with the company.

Organisational culture is of paramount importance as it then reflects on the service by the staff to the end-client. Any organisation can surely bounce back from the inevitable missed deal or opportunity but not from an imploding organisational culture.
Have you heard about the term "Quiet Quitting"? Quiet Quitting describes a situation where employees do their assigned tasks and meet expectations, but that's about it. They don't go the extra mile, volunteer for extra work, or necessarily put in a lot of enthusiasm. How many do you know in your organization?

If you are a fresher, Please understand that moonlighting isn't a crime and you can clearly ask HR about if your company allows moonlighting or not before joining. The reason companies don't allow moonlighting is Freshers don't usually able to handle it efficiently and soon reach a burnout. Another reason is they don't understand treason. Using company resources or time to profit your other job is wrong and it costs company a lot more than you think. As long as you understand this well enough (the risk and the benifits), Feel free to Moonlight on good terms with your company. Note: Moonlighting can always be relevant to your job agreement, so always be clear about this with Company. #moonlighting #engineering
Can a company “ask” its employees to moonlight? In our team wariCrew we do exactly that! I have always encouraged my team members to work at different places, pursue multiple gigs, and also take up different kinds of projects. Better yet, I have offered them roles that my acquaintances had openings for! Both full-timers and interns in my team. When you do not want to “restrict” your team, and trust them instead: 1. They will grow in their skills and not be limited to what you have to offer. 2. They will understand their time-money relationship over time, which is an important lesson. 3. They will always want to return 10X of that trust. Win-win-win! Magic happens when one starts with trust. #team #success #people #warikoo

My nationwide, fully-remote PR team at Crackle PR has my full confidence and trust. 😇 I don’t monitor their every move and bathroom break. I don’t babysit them or make them track time in 15-minute increments. I’m not running a daycare center. 🧸 I hire grown-ass adults. And I treat them like grown-ass adults. And because of that understanding we’ve *organically* built a culture of mutual respect and empathy like I’ve never seen in my entire career. Here’s what I’ve learned: My job is to set up my team for success. Be available to provide guidance when needed. And then get the hell out of their way. 👇 This model doesn’t work for everyone. This isn’t the way it’s always been done. But for me and my team of highly efficient adult PR professionals? This is the way ✊ 👇

As a parent, there's nothing more rewarding than investing in our children's future. This often means taking on the role of chauffeur, driving my 15-year-old twin boys between their two jobs at Oporto and Flipout Australia. Most weekends, the boys work 9am-2pm at Flipout and then 5pm-9pm at Oporto. It might seem excessive to some, but these experiences are more than just about earning extra pocket money. They are about learning responsibility, time management, and the value of hard work. It's about understanding the dedication it takes to juggle multiple commitments and the satisfaction of seeing their efforts pay off. Every drive is a step towards building a strong work ethic and developing the resilience they will need in their future careers. Proud to support their journey and excited to see where their ambition takes them! PS. I keep telling them to get haircuts but I keep losing the argument.... #Parenting #FutureLeaders #HardWork #LifeSkills #InvestingInTheFuture
