Our team kicked off the week with a surprise visit from one of our dedicated volunteer coaches, Tenacious Tonya aka Buttercup! Katonya has served as a coach, 5K volunteer (Wonder Woman!) and a Boston Marathon SoleMate and is about to start her 6th season of coaching. Today she presented the GOTR Boston staff with one of her Boston Marathon banners and a generous gift to provide girls in Greater Boston with more opportunities to experience the transformational GOTR programs! Thank you, Coach, for being a role model for the girls on your team each season - we are proud to have you on our coaching roster!

Discover how to use sports and professional athletes' stories to enhance the health and sense of belonging for all students, but especially your immigrant students.
