As we enter the 3d week of Women's History Month, the topic of Working From Home or Remote Work is a HOT TOPIC in C-Suites and HR Strategy discussions across multiple industries and in all sizes of firms. Remote work is not a new phenomena. The only part that is new is the ability for staff from the C-Suite to the administrative support, and employees in multiple disciplines across the globe to be able to take part in structuring work that can reduce commute time, expense, and potential danger as well as allowing recruiting and HR teams to expand the demographics for roles that were challenging from a geographic or accommodation perspective. The article attached explores some of those areas and what it can mean for your business.

New research reveals a startling disconnect: while employees consistently report workplace inequities, their leaders often can't see them. Why? It's not just about demographics - it's about power dynamics. Key findings: ✅ Managers report 13% fewer inequities in their own organizations vs. non-managers ✅ Leaders can spot bias everywhere except their own workplace ✅ When shown concrete evidence, managers increased diversity initiative funding by 30% Remember Salesforce's wake-up call? CEO Marc Benioff initially denied gender pay gaps existed - until data proved otherwise. The lesson? Even the best cultures need objective scrutiny. Read more with Todd Tool and learn about this critical leadership blind spot and how to address it: https://bit.ly/3Ce8CyE

🤝 In today's fast-paced work environment, the need for genuine connection is more pressing than ever. A recent EY survey uncovered a startling statistic: over 40% of U.S. employees, spanning diverse demographics, expressed feelings of isolation at work. This highlights a widespread longing for deeper connections within the workplace community. But here's the good news: the solution might be simpler than you think. This article by Karyn Twaronite in Harvard Business Review , unveils an effective strategy for fostering connection: encouraging colleagues to check in with each other regularly. According to the survey, 39% of respondents feel the strongest sense of belonging when their coworkers take the time to connect with them on both personal and professional levels. This underscores the transformative impact of small gestures in enhancing the employee experience and fostering a sense of belonging. Discover more about this powerful approach below! I hope you enjoy reading the article as much as I did. #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceCulture #Connection #Teamwork #EmployeeExperience https://lnkd.in/eKt_mbVS
