best combination: disregard of facts (it wasn't the last supper that was displayed) and a 1950's mindset.

Has religion, most religions, amplified homo sapiens penchant for violence? Absolutely. Is religion the root cause of homosapiens penchant for violence? No. That culprit would be human nature. That reality follows us everywhere we go. No people, Country. Culture. Religion. Ism. Race. Creed. Preference etc is free of that reality.

EUROPE's Judeo-Christian heritage has been widely abandoned, and worse, it is now even seen as detrimental and alien by many. At the opening of the Paris games, a perverted application of culture tried to cancel Europe’s Christian tradition and its identity. It is surprising that the Olympic Committee and the French government tolerated it and that the “elite” participating applauded. The tasteless parody of the Last Supper was a mockery of religion in general and an offense to any Christian in particular. What then is left as European identity? This exaggerated welfare state – beyond necessary solidarity – has, however, been detrimental in two ways. First, more money is spent than is sustainably available, and worse still, too much is expected from the state, resulting in the abandonment of self-responsibility. Here I would be a little bit cautious. Making claims on any heritage might become certain explosive matter. Always there might appear somebody pretending on the same legality as another pretender and sharp pretention may lead to sharper conflicts. To rely on the Olympic movement as on preventive event enabling peaceful coexistence among nations is IMHO hypothetical and partially hypocritical. There might be numerous examples found where we could refer to the rising tensions and violence leaving bitter reminiscence related to the particular Olympics.

Nihilism. Christianophobia is the only acceptable bigotry.
