Monthly #support needed! Rs. 12,848 is what we got today against Rs. 5.80 lakhs, which is less than 3% of what we need. We serve this kind of meal to 1000+ people everyday at Change With One Meal for just Rs. 10 The cost per meal comes to Rs.35, and the remaining Rs.25 comes from generous people. We need around 8-9 lakhs (~$10,000) every month to pay all our bills. This month we needed Rs. 8.2 lacs to pay all our dues, and thankfully we raised around 2.4 lakhs extra last month. So we need just 5.8 lakhs this month and we haven’t raised even 3% of our target. Imagine with every 750 contribution we can feed one person for whole month at #changewithonemeal. And if just 800 people donate this much, we can easily meet our target this month to pay all our bills. Please consider contributing generously at: https://lnkd.in/dU8bGYG Or through UPI - OneMeal@Kotak

Small actions can make enormous changes, its the cumulitive effect. When times are tough economically it’s difficult for people to commit to making regular monthly payments to charities or even to sponsor fundraising events. That’s where micro donating wins the day. Score a Bed is a bed/bedroom rating platform that aims to inform the traveller using hotels in self catering accommodation, whilst at the same time giving valuable feedback to the provider.A very tiny percentage will be added to the bill which will support funding beds for rough sleepers and beds for families in bed poverty through the Score a Bed Foundation. Yesterday was #GivingTuesday. It has us thinking of those in our own community who need assistance. Even communities that seem socioeconomically alright often have people who are struggling in one way or another. Around this time back in 2018 we started something small at our local school and it has snowballed into a districtwide event with multiple businesses involved. This year’s event takes place tomorrow and we are pumped! Seeing the work that others in our HTM community do to give back inspires us to keep going and growing. We know that not every individual or every business is in a position to donate money, but there are other ways to have an impact in your community. Often times, especially for kids, it means so much just to know that somebody cares. Sharing food with a food pantry, giving travel toiletries to a school’s “Care Closet”, donating luggage to foster kids, and passing on outgrown coats are all ways of helping. Maybe your business could ask the local school or college if there is a student who you could sponsor for shoes or stationery supplies. If you are able to volunteer time, you could identify a community need and organize a way to fill it. Those of you who have had the thought, “Someone should do something about _____ ,” please entertain the thought that Someone could be YOU. #payitforward #giveback #startsmall #community #mybackyard

Due to the new Autumn Budget, average hidden costs from agencies are now set to increase from 0.42p to 0.52p. This has left many businesses wondering how they can stay competitive. Our solution? The Tempeo Method, which has been carefully designed to help you manage rising expenses by reducing overspend without cutting back on quality. If you oversee labour spend, ask yourself: are you doing enough to keep costs in check? If not, our team has the capacity to support your needs through peak periods and beyond, ensuring your full overspend is eradicated by the time April 2025 comes around. Check your spend: https://lnkd.in/e_9w26rc And here’s our promise — if we can’t prove a way to save, we’ll donate £100 to a charity of your choice. It’s risk-free, so why wait? #ChallengeTempeo #TempeoMethod #LabourSpend #AutumnBudget #WarehousingAndLogistics

📉 Lets Reverse the Decline in Charitable Giving 📉 For the eleventh consecutive year, charitable donations in Canada have been on the decline. In fact, the number of Canadians making donations dropped from 23.4% in 2010 to just 17.7% in 2021. These numbers serve as a wake-up call. With fewer people giving and more Canadians in need, our communities are feeling the impact. At Good Deeds, we believe that giving back can and should be a joyful experience, and we’re committed to making it rewarding too. With our Deed Dollars, volunteers earn rewards for every good deed, making giving back a sustainable and meaningful part of daily life. Let’s work together to shift these trends, build stronger communities, and bring giving back to the forefront. Join us at Good Deeds and let’s turn this decline into a movement for positive change! #GoodDeeds #GivingBack #MakeADifference #DeedDollars #CanadaCares #SupportCommunities

We have an awkward question to ask.... This week is 'Include a Charity Week'- A social change campaign running from September the 2nd until September the 9th and SecondBite is taking part! Include a Charity Week is all about asking what can be an awkward question to friends, family, colleagues - anyone who will listen. So here goes... Do you plan to include a charity in your will? A lot of people don’t know this, but Gifts in Wills make up 25% of all charity revenue in Australia. Gifts in wills make a phenomenal difference to the work we do at SecondBite. By choosing to include SecondBite in your will, you leave a lasting legacy and will make a meaningful difference to the lives of future generations of Australians in need. Creating or updating an existing Will can be done by speaking with a Solicitor. Alternatively, you can create your Will for FREE in as little as 10 minutes with Gathered Here- Australia’s most trusted online will platform- by clicking the link below. https://lnkd.in/gJDsscby If you would like more information on including SecondBite in your will, visit https://lnkd.in/g3_WXkYk or just drop us a message at bequests@secondbite.org. We’d love to hear from you! #SecondBite #IncludeACharity #GiftsInWill #Bequest

Ketto you are doing great job to help the needy. I appreciate it 😍 Most of the volunteers like me trust your platform to go ahead and make donations on case by case basis or as a monthly contributions to fund your campaigns. We have left our contact details with you. It is always okey for you to call us to get support for the emergency campaigns. We are active volunteers, for sure we donate asap when we have funds in those cases, some times we may say no as we don't have funds. It's your responsibility to move on without pressurising us instead. It is becoming a concern for us when the fundraisers doing pitches get to donate at any cost adding emergency factors. I have been experiencing this since start of this year. Please Ketto take necessary steps to avoid those negative user experience to retain your existing active volunteers may be some thing like this Providing an additional editable option on volunteers profile where he /her can opt-in or opt-out from receiving the Marketing, fundraising for emergency campaigns related calls. Also he/her should able to provide the frequency of getting these calls (monthly or quarterly or half yearly or during taxation) based on their appetite should be good. Hope all of us at Ketto should be in good place after the transition #fundraisinginitiatives #volunteering
