The use of insecticide-treated nets (#ITNs) is one of the most effective #vectorcontrol methods, and key to reducing #malariatransmission🦟 Yet ITN usage can be low, even when communities have access to nets. That’s why we’re pleased to be partnering with The Behavioural Insights Team (supported by philanthropic funding via GiveWell) to investigate the reasons behind the low uptake of ITNs in Nigeria and Uganda, where fewer than 59 percent of the population sleep under ITNs regularly.
