According to a recent report from Givelify and The Lake Institute, 56% of faith-based givers responded that they intend to give more in 2024, while 42% expect to donate the same amount. Good morning everyone. as some people may know I do charity events once a year to try and help children charities with huge amount of help from Bateman Groundworks Ltd Me and 8 others will be climbing SCARFELL PIKE on 19th of July For JAMES PAGET HOSPITALChildren’s ward 10 / children’s day patients For kids that need daily treatments. This will hopefully allow the children to have a more comfortable and pleasant stay as will be able to provide a lot of distractions for the children to keep them occupied. Working in the charity sector in Jersey? Please raise this with your trustees/ board/ directors. This is quite simple stuff folks: Credible, verifiable data is the most impactful way to inform and influence government and donor decisions regarding the charitable sector. Otherwise we are stuck with noise, politics and personal agendas, however well intended they may be. Let’s stop whingeing and deal with facts and data.
