We are delighted to announce the publication of the Golden Bottle Trust (GBT) annual report. We have chosen to structure this year’s annual report slightly differently – in a series of six thought pieces which provide an insight into the way we do things. They cover topics ranging from impact investment to environmental philanthropy and tell the story of how we have evolved our approach, while also sharing about the tools we use for our giving. We designed the report so that each section could stand on its own, meaning people can read the sections that interest them most. Today we want to share an incredibly important call to action from NonProfit Quarterly. This article covers how philanthropists are uniquely positioned and called to action by the increased suppression of social movements across our country. The authors call philanthropists to "stand in solidarity with those facing unjust persecution and support those on the frontlines defending our democracy.
