⭐ We're delighted to share our latest collaborative achievement with Madagascar Protected Areas and Biodiversity Fund (FAPBM). This comprehensive impact report, prepared by tameo, evaluates the impact performance of the FAPBM fund in detail. Read the highlights below: 💡 Key Highlights: The FAPBM portfolio encompasses 8 funds, with a commitment of $17.1 million to fund investments, impacting 78 companies across 30 countries. A significant focus on Africa (33% exposure) and the environmental sector (38% exposure). Supported 27,754 jobs and reached 10,660 farmers, with a notable 42% of women employees. Achieved a remarkable 82% increase in clean energy production, totaling 609 GWh, contributing significantly to environmental sustainability. 📈 Impact Growth: The FAPBM portfolio has seen a 47% growth in job support from 2021 to 2022. Taxes paid to local governments by investee companies rose by 25%, totaling $261 million. Educational impact includes serving 3,330 educational facilities and employing 2,843 teachers. 🌍 SDG Contributions: The investments align with 9 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in gender equality, decent jobs, sustainable industrialization, and clean energy. SMEs, a major focus of FAPBM, are pivotal in job creation, especially in emerging markets, supporting over 27,000 workers. 🌱 Environmental Initiatives: A strong emphasis on renewable energy, with 609 GWh of clean energy produced in 2022, marking an 82% increase from the previous year. This report underscores FAPBM's commitment to transparent and impactful investing.
