In Nigeria, the local production of castor oil is emerging as a key driver of economic growth, offering a myriad of benefits that extend far beyond its natural properties. Castor oil, derived from the castor bean plant, is renowned for its versatility, finding applications in pharmaceuticals, paint and coating, cosmetics, and various industrial sectors. What sets it apart is the economic boon it brings when procured locally. By investing in domestic castor oil production, Nigeria experiences a ripple effect of economic advantages. Local cultivation not only generates employment opportunities, particularly in rural areas, but it also reduces the country's reliance on imported castor oil. This shift towards self-sufficiency is a strategic move, insulating the nation's economy from external fluctuations and fostering a more robust economic ecosystem. Moreover, the local production of castor oil contributes to sustainable development. Cultivating castor plants locally aligns with environmental sustainability goals, as it diminishes the carbon footprint associated with importing goods. Additionally, it promotes responsible agricultural practices, ensuring that the production process adheres to local environmental regulations. In essence, prioritizing the local procurement of castor oil in Nigeria is not just an economic strategy; it is a holistic approach to building resilience, creating jobs, and contributing to a sustainable future. As the nation strengthens its position in castor oil production, it simultaneously propels itself towards a more self-reliant and environmentally conscious economy. #Sustainability #LocalProcurement #BusinessEthics #CastorOil #SupplyChainResponsibility #LocalProcurement #CommunityEngagement #BusinessEthics #Nigeria #Agriculture #EconomicDevelopment #Sustainability #CastorOil #GovernmentSupport #LocalManufacturing #pcmn #bergerpaints

This is very innovative
After the flooding in Buipei, which caused significant havoc, we, under the mentorship of Kosmos Innovation Center Ghana , successfully developed a type of cement made from rice husks. Our initial tests indicate that it meets the standards of conventional cement. We are currently in the testing phase, and upon completion, it will be ready for the market. We plan to sell it at a retail price of 50 GH₵ per bag. It is eco-friendly and affordable for all. We are located in Tamale, in the Northern Region of Ghana. Dear all, Kindly, find below an online free copy for the next 50 days, my newly published paper with Taylor and Francis. I am super excited that I am gradually becoming one of the few scientists in Ghana when it comes to public health implications of potentially toxic elements, their biogeochemistry and their remediation in contaminated sites. Some highlights • Gold mining in Ghana has caused environmental damage and political unrest. • Research on environmentally friendly solutions is crucial for restoring lands, preserving ecosystems, and protecting public health. • Previous studies have overemphasized tree use in improving soil quality. • Ryegrass's phytoremediation ability for other toxic elements like Co, Hg, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, and Se has not been investigated. • This work reports for the first time ryegrass's phytoremediation potential in Ghana.

Topic- CRY OF THE PEOPLE: THE NEED TO INVEST IN AGRICULTURE. I would have kept mute on this topic but it keeps hunting me to spit it out. It's been two weeks now at my mom's shop and I noticed this usual heartbreaking sound,"Eeeiiii" from the customers after pronouncing the price of some food stuff. It's very appalling. I'm located in the Greater Accra region of Ghana, Ashaiman to be precise; the price of this tomato shot up to 2cedis per unit. Honestly, to me, the size doesn't qualify for such price. What do you think about it? share your thoughts or experience in the comment box. RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS 1. Need to invest in advancing agriculture technologies. 2.Need to control climate change. 3.Prioritizing the livelihood of Farmers. I recently saw a post of some mining industry, AngloGold Ashanti Iduapriem Mine and GOLD FIELDS Ghana performing their usual community responsibility and I believe other prestigious mines also prioritise that. This support in the agriculture sector is a positive impart on our socio-economic development as a nation. Let's support Ghana,Let's grow Ghana with you and I, the future of the nation will be bright. #investagriculture #AngloGoldAshanti #Brightfuture #Economicgrowth

The incredible agricultural potential of Africa in miniature (Cameroon), has birthed Giants in the business world and confirmed the saying "Agriculture is the backbone of Cameroon's economy" Great men and women like Baba Ahmadou Danpullo and Kate Fotso respectively, are among the people who have understood and ventured into mining the "Gold" that this sector of the economy represents. Even though this lucrative sector remains largely untapped, countless individuals and organizations who have chosen to exploit it, have given up. A good number, of those who have succeeded, are not experiencing the luxury of return on investment.
