Gameloft typically uses surveys to get an idea of what characters players would like to see in the future. In a previous survey, Alice in Wonderland content was a topic and we later saw the IP get added in the form of various furniture items. Now, Gameloft is back with another Disney Dreamlight Valley survey that gives players an idea of what characters Gameloft is considering for the future of the game. Some of the characters on the list are ones that players have been asking for for a long time. Do you need to be an active gamer to be a video game voice actor? This is a question that has been on my mind lately. After discussing with Mitch Leschinski, I came to the conclusion that it's not necessary. While being part of the gaming community and playing games can certainly help, what's most important is being able to get into character and deliver believable dialogue. Unlike commercial or promo work, character acting doesn't necessarily require you to have a specific tone or read. What are your thoughts on this?
