The ‘Joint Position Statement (JPS) – Investigation of moisture and its effects on traditional buildings: Principles and competencies’ (produced by the RICS with others that includes Historic England), was published in 2022, and now it features in a qualification on Damp, Mould and Condensation in Buildings. The Environment Study Centre has this week launched a brand new 2-Day course which achieves the ABBE Level 3 Award qualification, through a 2-Day course, which includes a section on the JPS. The course is available live over the Internet and also live in person for group bookings. It has been developed by me working with qualification awarding body ABBE.
