The Holidays are upon us, and many workplaces are starting their Holiday Party Planning. They are decorating, planning Secret Santa or Yankee Swap events, thinking about festive foods and otherwise getting into the Holiday Spirit. But what about your Team Members who don't celebrate Christmas? People like me, who celebrate Hannukah? Or Eid? Or Kwanzaa? Or the many other Festivals which occur between American Thanksgiving and the middle of January? Or the Team Members who observe Christmas, but don't celebrate it in the same way? Are your Holiday Festivities inclusive of their way of Observance and/or Celebration? Or is your company leaning heavily into the Christian or Secular Christmas Celebrations? This is a great opportunity for everyone to learn about other Holidays, and their traditions. Inclusion is growth and making your Team stronger. Happy Holidays to those who celebrate, and respect to those who observe their Holidays.

Holiday Celebrations have already begun in many areas 🇺🇸 Pets are becoming more and more a part of our festivities. But don’t forget to keep your fur-friend out of harms way during the excitement! AVMA has some great tips on keeping your pet safe… July 4 safety (AVMA) Fireworks, picnics and other Fourth of July traditions can be great fun for people. But all of the festivities can be frightening and even dangerous for animals. Noisy fireworks and other celebrations can startle animals and cause them to run away; holiday foods can be unhealthy; summer heat and travel can be dangerous; and potentially dangerous debris can end up lying on the ground where pets can eat or play with it. Whether or not you're planning your own Independence Day celebration, it's important to take precautions to keep your pets safe both during and after Fourth of July festivities. https://lnkd.in/gAyBdnwz

🎄✨ Christmas Party Season is Here! ✨🎄 Over the next week, many companies are celebrating their annual Christmas parties – a time to relax, connect, and enjoy the festivities🥂 But let’s not forget to prioritize safety! 🚗 Plan Ahead for a Safe Journey: ✅ Arrange a taxi or ride-share in advance ✅ Designate a non-drinking driver if carpooling ✅ Check public transport schedules if using buses or trains 🍸 Don’t Drink and Drive: Even one drink can impair your ability to drive. If you’ve been drinking, it’s simple: don’t get behind the wheel. 🎅 Enjoy the Fun, Responsibly: We all want to celebrate the season, but let’s make sure everyone gets home safely to enjoy the holidays with their loved ones. #ChristmasParty #CelebrateResponsibly #RoadSafety #DriverSafety #FleetSafety

Inclusive design doesn’t just tick a box; it creates unforgettable memories and opens the door to a world where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and valued. At The Business Creative, we believe that everyone deserves a sprinkle of magic during the festive season, which is why we’re incredibly proud to have worked with Drayton Manor on creating their NEW Accessible Santa Grotto. 🌟 Reading the feedback they’ve received has been nothing short of heartwarming: ✨ “You’ve changed our child’s life with this experience.” ✨ “You’ve created a space that allowed our child to enjoy time with Santa like nowhere else before.” These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. Crafting a space tailored for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) wasn’t just about meeting accessibility standards—it was about creating a joyful, stress-free environment where every family could experience the magic of Christmas in their own way. Thank you to Drayton Manor Resort and Victoria Lynn for championing inclusion and for trusting us to help make this vision a reality. Together, we’re showing that magical experiences aren’t just for some—they’re for everyone. 🎄✨ #inclusivedesign #accessibilitymatters #SEN #creativeexperiences #entertainmentinnovation #experiencedesign #creativeagency
We believe that the festive season should be for everyone 🎄✨ Our NEW Accessible Santa Grotto has been a heartwarming success, and we’re beyond proud of the amazing feedback we’ve received from families who have experienced it for the first time. ➡️ Ollie Carr, Head of Operations, is proud to say that we've "received the most wonderful feedback for our accessible grotto. To hear comments such as, ‘you’ve changed our child’s life with this experience,’ and ‘you’ve created a space that allowed our child to enjoy time with Santa like nowhere else before,’ really does show not just Drayton but the world why it is so important to us to ensure all our guests can enjoy the festive season through experiences that suit them and their families.” Creating a SEN-friendly space is more than just accessibility; it’s about making magical memories for everyone! We encourage all businesses to think about how they can make their experiences inclusive, ensuring that no one misses out on the joy of the season ✨
Our NEW Accessible Santa Grotto has been a heartwarming success!
