Glasgow City Council’s Post

A pop-up mobility hub that makes it easier for people to walk, wheel and cycle for local journeys has found its latest home in Kinning Park. Delivered by the charity CoMoUK through the Paths for All's Smarter Choices, Smarter Places Fund, the temporary hub which can be found outside 253 Paisley Road West, will offer local residents interested in travelling actively, a range of useful services. As well as a nextbike hire station, the hub includes an accessible seating area, a free bike repair stand and provides a meeting point for community activities. The pop-up also houses helpful information about local sustainable transport. Until the hub closes on Monday 17 Feb 2025, CoMoUK will also be running free activities for the local community, such as bike repairs, health walks and bike maintenance classes. Local residents can also find out more about claiming a £10 credit for Glasgow's nextbike cycle hire scheme. Full details 👉 www.glasgow.gov.uk/11872
