Somalia's Youth Lead the Way with Skills Revolution In recent years, we've witnessed an incredible transformation among Somali youth, as they've embraced a skills-driven revolution that is shaping the future of the Somali nation. Once seen as lacking human resources in the Government, Local and International organizations, and privete organizations, but, Somalia is now brimming with a new generation of highly skilled and capable young people. Somali youth have developed expertise across a wide range of fields - from software engineering to healthcare, renewable energy to logistics. This skilled workforce is driving innovation and prosperity, securing well-paid jobs, starting successful businesses, and reinvesting their talents back into their communities. Families that once struggled now enjoy greater economic stability thanks to the skills revolution. Remarkably, the talent pool within Somalia is now more than sufficient to meet any skill requirement, without the need for international organizations to look to neighboring countries. This is a testament to the resilience and ambition of the Somali people. #SomaliYouth #SkillsRevolution #Entrepreneurship #Somalia

Well said, Mohsin! Pakistan should aim to create a standout software product that establishes a global Pakistani brand. This flagship product can lead the way for many more, driving us toward the $100 billion software industry we aspire to achieve. What are your thoughts? Which Pakistani products should we be proud of, similar to India's Zoho? What steps should we take to turn this vision into reality?
In Pakistan's IT sector, we've primarily relied on providing services and support, which has sustained many companies but limited our potential for global impact. Most firms focus on small to medium-scale projects, offering development services rather than developing and selling their own products worldwide. Having worked in IT, I've noticed that service-based companies are vulnerable to market fluctuations, downsizing, and job insecurity due to reliance on client projects. On the other hand, product-based companies tend to be more stable, offering greater job security and resilience against market waves. To truly thrive, Pakistani IT companies must pivot towards developing problem-solving products alongside their service offerings. This dual approach not only accelerates growth and stability but also strengthens Pakistan's economy and supports countless families. It's time to shift gears. By focusing on innovative products that solve global challenges while continuing to provide excellent services, we can propel Pakistan's IT sector to new heights. Let's build a future where stability, growth, and impactful careers define our industry. #PakistanIT #TechInnovation #ProductDevelopment #GlobalImpact #EconomicGrowth
