I must admit, I have felt like that on many an occasion, both in my career and personal life. I've experienced being put down by a manager, being underminded in order to "control" ambition and aspirations. This has also stopped me from aiming higher early on in my career. Thankfully, what I have learnt over the years is to fail & learn (First Attempt In Learning). If you have the courage to take that leap, because it does take courage (progress doesn't come from a place of comfort), you will eventually realise by looking at your experiences, you will find one common theme: You managed to deal with it! Life and work will always throw challenges at you that you may feel are completely out of your comfort zone, that you are not qualified to deal with. But look back at your life and realise that you have gotten through those difficult times and come out more qualified, wiser and with more tools to handle the future. You are enough, trust your skills, challenge yourself and: forward always, always forward.
