How To Use The Solar Panel Supporting System Generator Feature in GRAITEC Advance Design

Modularity means that designs can be produced to cover applications ranging from balancing, with a high number of start/stops every day, through intermediate load, to continuous base-load operation with requirements for high efficiency and inertia to support the grid.

Today at the RE+ Southeast Conference, I led a discussion on the evolving role of building codes in promoting #renewableenergy, #energystorage, and #electricvehicles, particularly in the wake of substantial federal investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act. I highlighted the last-minute decision by the ICC Board to move solar-ready, storage-ready, and EV-ready provisions into an optional appendix, which will increase future retrofit costs on homeowners and slow adoption of these important technologies. Engagement in the code development process and advocating for adoption of progressive, sustainability-focused building codes are critical. By ensuring buildings are designed to be future-proof from the outset, we can avoid costly retrofits and accelerate the energy transition. The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) is leading the push for code development and adoption, shaping building codes that foster a sustainable energy future. I also had a great time visiting with NEMA members Eaton, nVent, Panduit, and Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division at the RE+ Expo! Lots of innovative technologies pushing the energy transition forward.

🌉 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 🇩🇰 We’re excited to showcase CCL’s contribution to the 𝗕𝗿𝗼 𝗩𝗲𝗷𝗹𝗲 – 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗴 – 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗸𝗲 𝗩, a new bridge in Aarhus, Denmark, designed to support a bicycle path over the E45 highway. 🚲 Commissioned by the Danish Road Administration and designed by Ramboll, this project showcases an optimal post-tensioning solution developed to minimise disruption to highway traffic. By post-tensioning and casting the two 32-meter bridge elements in advance, the design enabled seamless installation without the need for road closures, ensuring an efficient and sustainable approach to construction. CCL was proud to supply XM50 and XF30 systems for horizontal post-tensioning, working closely with Per Aarsleff A/S, the main contractor awarded this prestigious project.
