Leaders face a pivotal moment because AI is already transforming the way we work and live. As our world continues to change so quickly, it has never been more important to put our people at the center of everything we do. That’s why Semafor General Manager Bennett Richardson and I connected on stage at the World of Work Summit to discuss how to foster cultures in which people thrive. The summit highlighted key findings of the State of the Global Workplace Gallup report released Wednesday. One key finding: overall employee engagement stagnated and wellbeing declined in 2023, after multiple years of steady gains. As leaders, we’re in the driver’s seat to accelerate lasting change. Not only are we navigating a technological revolution, but we’re also defining a human capital renaissance: we have the power to unlock new opportunities, innovation, and creativity for our people, supercharged by AI. Leaders who want to win will bring their people along this journey. We need to increase our focus on the humanity of our people and provide them the space and resources to support their mental health and wellbeing, especially as new technology changes the way we work. At ServiceNow, our North Star is Our People Pact: our commitment to help our people do their best work, live their best lives, and fulfill our purpose together. When people are engaged, doing meaningful work they love with the support of their managers, they will do their best for your customers and help your business grow. Charting the path for this renaissance is both exciting and daunting. By embracing changes now, with a people-led approach and a product mindset, we can unlock new opportunities for tomorrow. Thank you, Bennett, for a great discussion! Read the State of the Global Workforce report here: https://lnkd.in/edqvm3S6 Photo credit: Semafor/Kris Tripplaar

Everyone matters in AI strategy & planning and access to learning is essential. Create a 'bridge' to harnessing individual and collective knowledge, experience and wisdom. No matter how much we automate people will always be the difference. #Investinpeople #ManagementDevelopment #Talent #AIStrategy
Previously, we shared insights into our Talent Solutions Practice at Acacia Advisors. Today, we want to shift our focus to how organizations can maximize the collective wisdom of their existing talent. Organizational change is a constant, manifesting through transformation initiatives, cost reductions, and enhancements to employee and customer experiences. Consider these questions: * Are you fully attuned to and leveraging the intelligence embedded in your organization? * How effectively do you tap into the innovative ideas your team produces in context of major initiatives and common challenges? * During times of change, do you effectively leverage the collective wisdom of your people to guide, inform, and support decisions? While synchronous and asynchronous methods (e.g., town halls, surveys) can enhance your connection with staff, they also have limitations. Increasingly, we see clients leveraging AI to engage their staff on critical issues, socialize new concepts, and ease the burden of change on the entire organization. We have found that a combination of AI-driven employee engagement tools and evolving organizational change models are redefining how leading companies maximize engagement with their most valuable assets: their people. For organizations not yet ready to embrace AI, consider these ideas: * Open communication channels to front line * Increase the amount of “real-time”, synchronous engagement * Recognize and reward open discourse * Lead by example, walk the floors ask listen If you are leading change, take the time to assess your approach and ensure your intentions align with perceptions of the change you are leading. I'm sure you've noticed people are talking about the future of work. The companies I've noticed that are putting the future of work into perspective are using it to fuel growth. Some of these topics that these companies are putting into perspective are: ✅ Hybrid Work: It’s not just about working from anywhere—it’s about staying connected no matter where your team is. How are you making remote work feel seamless and personal and keeping the engagement rate up? ✅ AI in HR: *Hot take* AI isn’t here to replace people but to make work more meaningful. What could your team achieve if they had more time to focus on growth and less on busy work? ✅ Inclusive Leadership: Belonging isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the foundation of innovation. Teams that feel seen and heard build the best ideas. Is your culture helping or holding back creativity? The future of work is full of challenges—but also huge opportunities. How are you using these topics to help drive company growth?

*AI and Hybrid Work: Shaping Workplace Trends in 2025* After talking to some senior Leaders and compiling few articles, my thoughts The transition to 2025 highlights the growing influence of technology and evolving workplace dynamics. 2024 served as a critical period for organizations to adapt and innovate. With AI, automation, and hybrid work models on the rise, companies are reimagining how they acquire and develop talent. There is great influence of digital transformation on the industries and the evolving work style. This year highlighted the importance of agility, continuous learning, and upskilling to stay competitive in a rapidly changing landscape. The integration of AI and automation in HR has been transformative, boosting efficiency and improving employee experiences while enabling teams to focus on strategic and creative work. Emerging Workplace Trends for 2025 Hybrid Work and Collaboration: The shift to hybrid work offers flexibility but challenges collaboration, requiring new strategies to bridge the gap. Skills-First Hiring: Companies are moving from traditional qualification-based hiring to a focus on skills to address talent shortages. Purpose-Driven Work: Employees now seek roles that align with meaningful goals and sustainability, beyond just competitive pay. 4. Actionable Feedback: Leading companies prioritize acting on employee feedback. The success of IT and IT-BPM organizations will depend on their ability to integrate these trends into a cohesive workplace strategy. #HR #Leaders # Leadership #HRleaders #CHRO #CPO #HeadHR #Humanresource #
