Communication is an important skill that corporate doctors should be proficient in. We are required to possess management skills in addition to medical skills. Without effective communication, it is impossible to reach a win-win solution between the management department and the onsite medical teams. Occasionally, problems are hard to solve when both sides cannot articulate their thoughts well enough. For me, it takes daily practice to improve my communication and coordination skills to reach a settlement. #communication #longlifelearner #corporatedoctor #dailypractice

View your patients as individuals you aim to empower, so they eventually don’t need to visit you as often. This might seem counterintuitive at first. You might think, "If they stop coming, doesn't that defeat the purpose of my work?" Consider the vast amount of free information available on the internet. Do you think those who share this free knowledge aren’t compensated? Absolutely not! The opposite is true. As a private practice owner, the more valuable information you share with your patients, the more you establish yourself as an expert. Don't wait until your patients book an appointment to engage with them. Here's how you can develop an effective communication plan: 1. Reflect on the common conversations you have with your patients every day. 2. Choose four topics and craft emails based on them for a month. 3. Send these emails out weekly. 💥 Just like that, you'll have a month's worth of communication with your patients. Even if the information isn't directly applicable to them, remember they have friends and relatives who might benefit from it. In our previous live session, I discussed the importance of word-of-mouth. This is one of the best ways to grow your practice, and effective communication plays a crucial role in this process. If you're short on time and want to learn how to implement this strategy, feel free to send me a message here. https://lnkd.in/e_uqYhA6

5 Ways to Improve Active Listening for Better Customer Service 🎧 Active listening is the foundation of great communication, especially in customer service. It helps build trust, resolve issues efficiently, and strengthen relationships with clients. Here are 5 actionable ways to improve your active listening skills: Stay Focused: Give your full attention to the speaker. Avoid distractions like checking emails or multitasking. Your focus shows you value their concerns. Avoid Interrupting: Let your clients express their thoughts fully before you respond. Interruptions can make them feel unheard. Ask Clarifying Questions: If something isn’t clear, ask questions to ensure you fully understand the issue. This shows you’re committed to finding the right solution. Reflect Back: Paraphrase or summarize what the customer has said. This confirms understanding and shows that you’re genuinely engaged. Show Empathy: Acknowledge their feelings. Saying something as simple as, “I understand this must be frustrating” can go a long way in showing empathy. 💡 Why it Matters: Active listening not only resolves issues but also creates a positive customer experience, fosters loyalty, and boosts your business growth.
