It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our CEO and Founder, Michael Lombardo.  After a courageous battle with cancer, Michael passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, innovation, and dedication. Michael was not only an exceptional leader but also a beloved husband, father, son, colleague, mentor, and friend. His vision and passion were instrumental in shaping GlideFast Consulting into the thriving organization it is today. As we mourn the loss of an extraordinary individual, we also celebrate his life and the indelible mark he left on our community. Outside of work, Mike was a passionate philanthropist most notably acting on the board of The Joe Andruzzi Foundation as well as a supporter of Year Up giving back to families and people in need whenever he could. He made it his mission to spread love and positivity to every person he encountered. Michael's impact will be felt for many years to come, and his memory will continue to inspire us as we carry forward his mission and values. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Michael's family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, to the Mayor of ServiceNow. Your legacy will live on in all of us. #LombardoLegacy #GlideFastFamily #LFG

I met so many wonderful people over the course of my 12 year career at ServiceNow. Michael Lombardo stands out as one of the finest. He built a fantastic business which is extremely hard, yet somehow made it look easy. I never saw him without a smile on his face and a crowd of people happy to be in his presence. I along with so many others will miss him, but will always remember him for his generosity, positivity and strength. Rest in peace Michael. 🙏

My heart sank and broke today when I learned of this news. Mike was one of the few people I know that looked forward to going to work every day. He loved to be with his employees and partners and genuinely work with customers to make their business better. Whenever he came to town and we got together we always structured a sound business plan but also made time to appreciate each other and have some fun. This is a picture of Mike after he and I made friends with a local Bay Area Sports anchor. Mike is holding an Emmy Award. Mike you will be missed and continued to be remembered and admired. I'm sorry you had to fight and endure this terrible disease. 💔✝️

I’ve read all the emails and posts regarding the extremely sad news about Michael’s passing and yet I’m struggling to wrap my head around it. Each time I read one of the many tributes to the “Mayor”, I find myself welling up with tears. I knew him as a colleague and a great partner not necessarily a friend, but every conversation I ever had with him felt personal. He was so approachable and easy to talk to, even when I was calling him about an escalation. He always remained reasonable and helpful and had a smile on his face or in his voice.  I assumed he would be back to work again some day soon and I looked forward to our next chat.  I guess we can’t take anything for granted in this life ☹. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all of his Glidefast team. You will definately be missed Mr. Lombardo #LegendsLiveOn

Very heartbreaking. Mike Lombardo was a truly selfless and inspirational individual who touched so many people’s lives in the best way possible. He lifted so many people up with his generosity and spirit of giving, myself included.  I knew Mike for a short period of time while working for GlideFast, and I am so grateful for the time and exchanges I had with him. He was always so warm and welcoming towards me and every individual he came in contact with.  His loss is tremendous, but he will be remembered as an amazing individual who dedicated his life to helping others through his leadership and actions.  I am sending peace and condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who had a chance to spend some moments of their lives with this beautiful individual.

Saddened to hear the heart breaking news of Michael’s passing. 💔 I had the great pleasure of first meeting Michael 5+ years ago as he joined our Partner Advisory Council as a highly innovative and successful partner CEO/founder. He was an amazing human being with a lions heart, indomitable will, tremendous passion, and the ultimate team player who knew how to Dream Big! His servants heart, genuine love of people and relentless pursuit of excellence in all things were core to his being and will be greatly missed by all….including his million dollar smile! My thoughts and prayers are with his family, GlideFast Consulting & industry colleagues and friends for the Lord’s peace and comfort during this challenging time as we mourn his loss and celebrate his special and all too short life. 🙏 We were all blessed to know Michael, may he ‘Rest in Peace’.

Michael tried to recruit me several times over to GlideFast. He would message me directly, "Skaggs!". Just like he knew me. And our conversations were always great ones, even if I wasn't in the market. Such a tremendous guy. The void he leaves behind, not just with all of us, but especially with his wife and his girls. I can't even begin to imagine 😞 Cancer takes another one far too soon and the world is a little worse today because of it. I can only hope the end was full of love with those he loved around him.
