Enabling Battery Quality at Scale - Head of Sales @ Glimpse

🚨 Top 10 Major Battery Recalls 🚨 The battery industry has seen its fair share of recalls due to safety and performance issues. Here are the top 10 major battery recalls in recent history: 🤳 Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Exploding batteries led to a global recall, costing Samsung billions. ✈ Boeing 787 Dreamliner: Lithium-ion battery fires grounded the entire fleet for months. 🚘 GM Chevrolet Bolt EV: Fire risks prompted a recall of over 140,000 vehicles. 💻 Sony Laptop Batteries: Overheating issues led to a recall of millions of batteries. 💻 HP Laptop Batteries: Over 50,000 batteries recalled due to fire and burn hazards. 🚗 Nissan Leaf: Battery capacity loss issues led to a recall of early models. 🏎 Tesla Model S: Battery-related fire risk prompted a recall of select models. 🛸 Hoverboards: Multiple brands recalled due to fire hazards. 🚗 Toyota Prius: Battery issues led to a recall of over 1 million vehicles. 💻 Dell Laptop Batteries: Overheating and fire risks resulted in a massive recall. 🔍 How CT Technology Can Help To prevent such costly and dangerous recalls, implementing advanced CT (Computed Tomography) technology in your quality control process is crucial. CT scans provide unparalleled insight into the internal structure of batteries, enabling manufacturers to: Improve Quality Control: Detect and address defects before they become widespread issues. Enhance Traceability: Track the entire lifecycle of each battery, ensuring accountability and compliance. Boost Production Efficiency: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Investing in CT technology is a proactive step towards ensuring the safety, reliability, and longevity of your battery products. #BatterySafety #QualityControl #CTTechnology #ManufacturingExcellence #BatteryRecalls #Innovation #Sustainability

Easton Rasgon when you find a defect with your CT scan, are you able to predict what specific hazard may result? For example, the buckling of a separator may cause a fire. Can you predict hazards based on your scans?

Have you actually been able to test any of the defective cells you mentioned above with CT and see the defect?
