By Dr Prashant Sinha Over the past few decades, climate change has become a major topic of global concern. Increasing Earth's average surface temperature, melting glaciers, rising sea levels, and increases in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events – all are clear signs of climate change. #Climatechange #Globalwarming #ParisAgreement

Yes it is 43 degrees out there! What do we call it - Hell or just another heat wave? 🥵 Throughout the past few decades the weather patterns have been shifting and leading to more extreme temperatures. Climate change is a significant factor impacting the weather systems globally. We should all be prioritising efforts to address climate change rather than engaging in social conflicts 🙌 #climatechange #globalwarming #heatwave #futurism

THE CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL . It looks like nature do not have capacity to balance heat we generate and this heat is just transferred back to us . The earth has 2/3 water but it can not cool 1/3 land mass. If day temp becomes 50 deg C , we human will be in deep trouble .

You can clearly see that the world is getting hotter. A hotter planet means more extreme weather and greater disaster risks. 21 June is #ShowYourStripes day – spreading awareness about climate change using the iconic 'warming stripes' that visualize temperature trends over the last 100+ years. The decisions we make today will determine the state of the planet that future generations inherit. We must take urgent action to reduce emissions and to manage disaster risks. Climate change means the Earth's climate is getting warmer over time, mainly because of human activities like burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests. These activities release gases like carbon dioxide into the air, which trap heat and cause the planet to heat up. This warming changes weather patterns, leading to more extreme weather events. #climatechange

On #WorldEnvironmentDay, SOMA MATER recalls that climate change is not a future concern, it's happening NOW. From heavy rainfall to heatwaves in the region, the evidence is undeniable. As temperatures rise, so will the intensity of extreme weather events. Environmental Day gives us the opportunity to acknowledge the reality and severity of climate change and we ask that everyone to take action. #WorldEnvironmentDay2024 #GenerationRestoration #ActNow #ClimateAction #ClimateChange
