We RDT team recently celebrated our 2023 year end across all regions with a focus on team spirit and culture. The event not only looked back on the past year but also looked forward to the future, emphasizing key elements such as trust, the "safe harbor" concept, and the team motto, "One for All-All for One." This celebration showcased RDT's ability to act quickly and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
One of the standout aspects of the RDT Year End Celebration was the empowerment of team members. From the event's initiation to its moderation, individuals such as Bruno Fuchs, Alvaro Fajardo, Patricia Tatay Galan, Heike Dobelmann, and Simran Matharu were given the authority to form our own mission team and decide on the event's contents and ways of collaboration by our head of RDT, Frank Dr. Kobor. This approach was also experienced at the regional level, with each region and sector contributing their own ideas, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives. In RDT APAC, team members like Abhishek Tawde, Harshita Garg, CPSM®, Manasi G., Megha Pandya, and Jin Xu were fully empowered by leaders Devarajan Iyengar, Joy Luo, and Nawal Kukreja to decide what and how on the vision board for 2024 and showcase the new year celebration culture in India and China alongside other team members.
Throughout the event, reflections on 2023 highlighted the importance of a safe harbor, collaboration, and personal development. These principles have always been part of the team's DNA, along with a focus on project excellence and coaching from leaders and buddies.
Additionally, the vision for 2024 across different pillars and regions centered around the concept of "Bayer + Future," demonstrating the team's commitment to capability building under the DSO framework and fostering multi-disciplinary, cross-functional collaboration. It was clear that RDT remains dedicated to its original mission and continues to prioritize the organization's most pressing needs.
