The future of the #Nuclear industries workforce is changing rapidly. The techniques and technology used for training in the past are being updated and revised for the next generation #workforce. Technology like computer-based training and #virtualreality are playing a bigger role in skill development. But the foundational NDE #skillsets are still critical to ensure the future workforce has the right knowledge, training, and tools to be success in their role. EPRI #NDE training area provides courses and qualification for the development of these skills while looking at new ways of presenting this information. These courses support all levels within your organization for NDE training. Almost 3 years ago, I jumped from offshore oil and gas into the new world of #nuclear. What has surprised me most, is just how many transferable skills and how much knowledge and experience from the oil and gas sector is directly relevant to nuclear. The nuclear industry is entering its renaissance period, embracing new Innovations and First of a Kind Technologies that will create exciting new opportunities both in the UK and globally.
