I had the great honor of meeting with H.E. Ban Ki-moon, President of the Assembly and Chair of the Council of #GGGI, as well as the Eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations. We discussed the urgency of #climateaction and the important role GGGI must play in driving #greengrowth during these times of uncertainty. H.E. Ban Ki-moon’s leadership and dedication to global sustainability have been a source of inspiration for so many, myself included. His supportive words as I embark on this journey as Director-General of GGGI mean a great deal to me, offering encouragement and guidance as we work together to navigate today’s pressing challenges. To echo his powerful words, “There is no Planet B, and so there cannot be a Plan B.” This reinforces the importance of GGGI’s mission and the urgency with which we must act to ensure a sustainable, green future for all. As we look ahead, I am committed to leading #GGGI in accelerating transformative #solutions and fostering global #collaboration to address the climate crisis.
