Contracts & Tenders Engineer | Offshore & Oil & Gas Specialist | PMP Certified | Project Manager | Global Experience
It's time to bid farewell 🕊️ With mixed emotions, I have decided to leave PEINSO after a rewarding 2.6 years filled with outstanding learning curves and valuable experiences. During my time at PEINSO, I've had the privilege to explore various roles, challenges and projects. each contribution to my professional growth was such in a perfect and a significant way. From start serving as a Tender and Contracts Engineer in Jan 2022 till being a Senior Tender and Contracts Engineer since Jan 2024, mostly in offshore and deepwater development projects to diving more into the fields of subsea, ROV, Survey and underwater inspections. In addition to my standard responsibilities in the mentioned positions, I'd like to reflect on some key highlights from my journey with PEINSO. A few standout moments that come to mind are: 📈 Drilled, Implemented, excuted and lead a plan for securing a long term project in 2023 with one of the biggest and a leading client in the Oil & Gas industry for the company’s first time. started from the company audit process, securing the company technical approvals and competing on the highest level among various competitors (still enforced) ☺️. 🌟 Drilled and boosted the business relationships among the company and various partners/ suppliers worldwide in UAE, Senegal, Mauritania, Europe, Libya and Saudi Arabia for a better knowledge sharing, mega projects involvement, and initiation for securing exclusive agreements for new releases technology utilization in the MENA. 🪂 Implemented the monthly tender performance reviews since my joining in Jan 2022 till now for a better knowledge sharing within tender assets, boosting the tenders performance and increasing the contribution of the company (still enforced) ☺️. 🥇Secured the first agreement between PEINSO and a European 🇪🇺 company for an exclusive underwater technology for its first release worldwide in 2024. That would definitely reflect on the PEINSO’s projects outcomes in the industry among others soon. 📌 Developed the tender cycle database for prospect, conceptual, pre-tender, tender preparations and after tender submissions. With embedded distinguished plan for each phase, which enabled me to manage more mega project at the same time. My time at PEINSO has been nothing short of remarkable, filled with growth, experience, friendship, and unforgettable memories. I extend my heartfelt thanks not only to the company for believing in me by giving me all of those opportunities but also to PEINSO’s family (the people) for their support, guidance, and trust that have shaped my professional journey, emotional intelligence and enriched my experience. As I say goodbye to this fabulous chapter, I'm very excited to reveal 💣 the next chapter of my career path in a few days! ☺️☺️☺️

We are pleased to announce that on the 8th of August 2024, CRIST S.A. was awarded by Maersk Supply Service Canada Ltd., a contract for design and construction of a dedicated offshore field support vessel, that is scheduled to be delivered by the first quarter of 2027. The newbuild OSV (offshore support vessel), tentatively named ‘Project Sea Dragon’, will be delivered to service the White Rose field offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, for Cenovus Energy. Sea Dragon will be the next generation of OSV Vessel, based on the MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd. 995L SBC hull design, that will provide services including down staffing / crew change, drilling support, field safety standby, emergency towing, and ice management. As the OSV market is dynamic and influenced by various factors, driven by increasing day charter rates, oil and gas prices, regulatory changes, and global economic conditions, modern OSV’s must allow for stronger utilisation by technological advancements thus the newbuild will be designed with 2 x 1 MWh battery packs that can provide fuel savings up to 35%. Vessel Particulars: Loa x B: 109,7 x 22 m POB: 164 (including Industrial Personnel) DP Class: DP3 Class: ABS Technological innovations were adopted for the Sea Dragon, such as dynamic positioning class 3 and advanced navigation systems, enhance operational efficiency with lowest possible environmental footprint and optimal behaviour and performance in various modes of operation providing highest possible safety in offshore environments. The Sea Dragon OSV concept was developed by MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd, which will also be responsible for the vessel's basic design documentation. About CRIST Shipyard In 34-years long experience, CRIST shipyard has accomplished over 400 projects, employing over 2,000 people, having hi-tech production lines while implementing latest technology, has based on the unique ship-design concepts and having a capacity to process over 40 thousand tons of steel a year. Today CRIST is a leader amongst European shipyards and one of the major players on the market of maritime constructions, specializing in steel structures and turn-key vessels. About MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd MMC is an independent design company with extensive experience in creating innovative ship designs for the offshore industry and other specialized sectors, including naval vessels and warships. Eastern Seaboard of Thailand – September 15 – Dexon Technology has successfully executed a custom solution for a pair of challenging 12” subsea pipelines. These lines connect an onshore pumping station to a sea berth, providing tankers with jet fuel and diesel for international transport. With tight shipping schedules and high downtime costs, executing a rapid inspection without sacrificing top-tier quality was crucial for the client. To minimize downtime and reduce costs, Dexon proposed a bidirectional run for the inspection. 🔷 The Challenge While a bidirectional run offered clear benefits, it presented two challenges: ∘ The standard version of Dexon’s Ultrasonic Testing Multi-channel (UT-MC) Ring needed adjustments to bidirectionally navigate the tight turns. ∘ The pipeline needed a customized launcher and receiver. 🔷 Customizing the UT-MC Ring for Bidirectional Runs The client wanted to avoid placing a receiver at the sea berth, as it would require an additional day of shutdown and a complex installation. The inspection needed to be bidirectional. While bidirectional runs are typical in the industry, running this line required adapting the tool to minimize risks. Typically, ultrasonic tools are optimized for one-directional use, with flexible joints to ensure proper centering and navigation through sharp turns; adding a return journey increases the chance of error. Dexon utilized its compact UT-MC Ring, confident that it would be up for the task. The key features of this UT-MC Ring include: ∘ Compact design with condensed electronics, hard drive, and transducers. ∘ Joint-free construction to reduce the risk of the tool getting stuck on sharp turns. ∘ High accuracy in detecting corrosion and metal loss with ±0.3mm precision. ∘ Compliance with POF 2021 standards for inspection and reporting. 🔷 Creating a Custom Launcher Another challenge was the absence of a launcher and receiver. Dexon’s engineering team, experienced in designing custom launchers, stepped in to create a bespoke solution. Using the operator’s plans, they created a specialized launcher onshore. This tailored setup enabled Dexon to inspect the pipeline while keeping petroleum flowing and avoiding the need for an expensive receiver at the berth. The launcher design was also provided to the operator free of charge. 🔷 The Outcome Despite the challenges posed, Dexon successfully completed the inspection. Following an initial cleaning and assessment, the customized UT-MC Ring finished the inspection in just over two hours. The data was then reviewed by Dexon’s team, who confirmed that it met the company’s high standards. This project highlights Dexon’s ability to deliver tailored solutions to meet clients' unique needs. By customizing both the inspection tool and providing essential services like launcher design, Dexon minimized downtime while maintaining high-quality data and pipeline integrity—all while keeping costs under control.
