Black Cat is taking the next step in our journey from developer to producer by entering into an agreement to commence mining operations at the Kal East Gold Project! Open pit mining is expected to commence as early as June 2024 with gold production expected in September and operations are expected to be ongoing for ~18months. The two open pits contain an aggregate ~52koz Au (Myhree - 46koz @ 2.4g/t Au, Boundary - 6koz @ 1.5g/t Au).

The Lower Mid-Market segment of White&Case’s Global Mining M&A data is a proxy for the junior mining sector, with an average deal size since 2006 of US$26mn. With US$5.0bn in M&A over 9M/24, the sector could surpass the US$6.9bn of 2023, and has roughly maintained its global M&A share at 9.1%, down from 9.3% last year. The Lower Mid-Market sector had its highest share of global mining M&A in 2017 at 17.4% and reached a low of 6.8% in 2022. Andrada Mining has intersected grades of up to 4% for tin, over 2% for tungsten, and typically 0.5%-2% for copper at GOLD FIELDS' abandoned Brandberg West open pit mine, 110 km from the company's Uis Tin Mine. GOLD FIELDS owned and operated Brandberg West until the 1980s, with the cessation of exploration activities coinciding with a global collapse of the tin price. This morning #SRZ has put new numbers around its Heemskirk tin project. Stellar's update of a five-year-old scoping study was built on last November's 3.52 million tonnes at 1.05% for 36,991t contained tin indicated resource, and suggests the potential for an operation that would be profitable even below current pricing levels around US$32,000/t. Caledonia Mining (CMCL) unveiled substantial increases in reserves and resources (R&R) at the 64%-owned Blanket #gold mine, notes house broker Liberum.
