Two months prior to starting the service on the former suspended route Cuneo-Saluzzo-Savigliano, Arenaways Longitude Holding S.r.l. announces the expanding of its corporate structure through the entry of two shareholders leaders in the European market: Renfe Proyectos Internacionales and Serena Industrial Partners, with a minority share of 33% each. Matteo Arena stated: «The experience, international know-how and solidity of the companies behind Arenaways will allow us to achieve all our objectives whilst constantly improving the quality of our offer. We have been defined as “the third national operator” but we don’t live competition in a sense of opposition: competition means great benefits for users and the whole community, because it immediately results in more choice, better services and plurality. Ambassador Cruise Line (“Ambassador”), a Njord Partners portfolio company, and French cruise operator CFC - Compagnie Française de Croisières (“CFC”), have reached an agreement to merge, forming the “Ambassador Group”. This strategic combination marks the creation of a leading European premium affordable value cruise line, targeting the no-fly silver market. The transaction is expected to close by the end of January 2025. The combined company will operate a fleet of three vessels of small-to-mid-size vessels: Renaissance, Ambience and Ambition and will focus on no-fly European cruises, with a Caribbean programme introduced in Q4 2025. 🚢 **Adora Magic City Cruises Ahead with Impressive Passenger Numbers** 🌟 The Adora Magic City, operated by CSSC Cruise Technology Development Co., Ltd. (CCTD), has welcomed about 150,000 passengers since its maiden voyage, achieving an average load factor exceeding 95%. This strong start underscores the ship's popularity and the effectiveness of its operations. Recent data from China's Ministry of Transport highlights that over 10 international cruise ships have been active at Chinese ports this year, handling more than 190,000 passengers in the first quarter. Notably, the Adora Magic City and Mediterranea, operated by Adora Cruises Ltd., accounted for around 70% of this volume, indicating a steady recovery for the Chinese cruise market. The cruise industry, known for its extensive industrial chain and international reach, benefits from significant support in Shanghai. The CCTD has established an industrial cluster in the city, covering the entire cruise ship system from R&D to final assembly.
