African investor I Businessman I Author I Trade & Investment Promoter I CEO I Founder of chekkaacademy.club
I love Africa, but we need to do better. As a trade and investment promoter for African countries, it's disheartening to highlight these issues, but we must address them if we aim to develop and grow. Constructive feedback and reviews are essential for progress. Every year, millions of U.S. dollars are spent promoting bilateral trade and investment with Africa. However, potential investors, businesspeople, and tourists often face rude and unprofessional staff, poor communication, bureaucratic complexities, unclear procedures, scams and significant delays in document processing. While some African countries excel in ease of doing business, investment laws, visa access, and customer service, many others need to take these reviews seriously. Implementing better policies and providing thorough customer service training are crucial steps to enhance the overall experience for tourists and investors alike. It's time we act on this feedback and ensure that every interaction with our embassies, airport staff, bank or hotel staff, investment centers…reflects the best of what Africa has to offer. If you know your country or embassy is concerned, please tag them. Let's work together to improve and showcase the true potential of our continent. PS: My African brothers and sisters, sometimes we need to talk about these issues. This does not mean that other places in the world are perfect. #sudiammba #exportpromotion #investinafrica

I advocate for Africans to travel within the continent. This, I believe, will break down barriers and dispel stereotypes among us. While we should cherish our individual cultures and differences, it's crucial to embrace our shared African roots and unity. Allowing Africans to freely explore Africa will not only broaden our perspectives on the continent's beauty but also create economic opportunities by fostering trade and sharing each country's strengths. The key to Africa's prosperity lies in recognizing and utilizing our collective strengths rather than viewing others as our saviors. https://lnkd.in/d5tgT--G

The U.S. and Africa: A Partnership for the Future 🌍 The narrative around Africa is shifting. No longer viewed solely through the lens of aid, the continent is emerging as a dynamic hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. This presents a tremendous opportunity for U.S. businesses and investors. For both the U.S. and African nations, expanding trade and investment translates to increased economic opportunities and job creation. Let's support the development of critical infrastructure that facilitates trade, digital connectivity, and economic growth. Let's move beyond outdated perceptions about Africa being impoverished and needing a handout. Let's embrace the potential of U.S.-Africa collaboration, partners who need each other. It's time to invest in a mutually beneficial partnership that benefits us all. 🤝 (Pictured below: Africans and African Diasporans socializing in Los Angeles.) #RoyalAfricanCompany #InvestInAfrica #Tradefacilitation #USAfricaTrade

Today I was delighted to contribute to the discussion by Africa Re-birth on why we need to push for a visa free Africa. In my submission, I stated that Visa Free Africa is possible if there's a will by our political leaders. To start to see it happen, we can start by recognizing ourselves as Africans who are brothers and sisters and signing different agreements to connect the different regions in North, East, Central, Southern and West Africa. Visa Free Africa will facilitate economic growth and development and enhance social ties

LIMITLESS MONDAY AFRICA PROGRESS DEPENDS ON AFRICANs GIVING THAT opportunity. When you travel to Europe, the United States of America, France, and other nations. The success and progress that Africans have made is such a tremendous success. You see doors being open for Africans to come in and progress. Many businesses are being established to create generations of wealth. Rules and regulations are in place to enable the so-called immigrant to thrive. What do we say for Africa that strangles Africans' business? Also by putting in place impossible rules and policies that are bad for business. Such policies make importation and exportation impossible. To travel between African states you get several visas to make your journey smooth. You spend more as an African in securing an African visa. It is toxic to realize that in Africa our boundaries are not open for one another. We create a lot of barriers and difficulties. Progress requires liberty. A desire to see growth in each African country. Also the creation of flexible rules and regulations. That promotes a united force and front. It's high time you know that no other country will build Africa for Africans. The Western world has done a great job of liberating us. It's time for Africans to rise. Importing between African nations takes longer than importing to Europe and the USA. After arrival, the customs take forever to clear the goods. Our regulations stampede growth. Africa needs to wake up and stop, throwing the baby away with the water. That leaves us backward and with no future for the next generations. https://lnkd.in/dtEUvQAJ #Africans #wakeuptoyourrespondsibility #beyourbrothersguidance #africanforafricans
