With Pride Month right around the corner, we’ll soon see the rainbowfication of various corporates. While it’s always encouraging to see businesses show support, let’s hope this year it goes beyond the surface. True support means fostering an inclusive culture that champions equal opportunities and creates a genuinely welcoming environment for everyone (and not just turning your app logo/LinkedIn display picture rainbow to pride colours). Representation and visibility are important, but they must be backed by real, tangible actions that support the LGBTQIA+ community year-round. From hiring practices to workplace policies, and from employee resource groups to leadership training, every layer of an organization can and should reflect a commitment to diversity and inclusion. As allies, we are all responsible for bringing in the small contribution to make our work places #GenderInclusive Here’s to celebrating Pride Month with authenticity and dedication to lasting change. 🌈 #PrideMonth #Inclusion #Diversity #CorporateResponsibility #LGBTQIA #Equality #WelcomingWorkplaces

Pride month comes to an end. Now let’s continue! As Pride Month comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this celebration and look ahead to how we can continue fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace for everyone. Our strength lies in our diversity, and our success is driven by the diverse perspectives, experiences, and identities that each of you brings to our team. As we celebrate Pride Month, I want to emphasize the importance of empathy, openness, and inclusiveness—values that are essential to being a good ally. Understanding and sharing the feelings of others is at the heart of empathy. It’s about putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes, recognizing their unique experiences, and offer genuine support. Being open allows us to embrace the richness of diverse identities and foster an environment where everyone feels comfortable being their authentic selves. When people can bring their authentic selves to work, we create an atmosphere that welcomes innovation and creative problem solving. As we move beyond Pride Month, here are a few ways we can continue to make everyone feel included at Volvo GTT: Educate Yourself: Take the time to learn about the LGBTQ+ community, their history, and the challenges they face. Understanding is the first step towards being a supportive ally. * Speak Up: If you witness any form of discrimination or exclusion, speak up. Your voice can make a difference and help create a safe and respectful environment for all. * Be Supportive: Show your support for LGBTQ+ colleagues by using inclusive language, offering a listening ear, and participating in ongoing activities organized by VGIPL DEI community and V-EAGLE. * Celebrate Differences: Encourage and celebrate the diverse backgrounds and identities within our team. Diversity is our strength, and every unique perspective contributes to our collective success. * Practice Allyship Every Day: Being an ally is an ongoing commitment. Continuously strive to create a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, and respected. As we look to the future, let us all reaffirm our commitment to these values and to each other. Together, we can build a workplace where everyone feels included, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves! #Pride #wearevolvogroup #inclusion Kishan Sreenath Shibani Muzumdar

This Pride Month, I'm reminded of how fortunate I’ve been to be able bring my authentic self to work every day of my career. Yet, I know many in the LGBTQIA+ community don’t share this experience. At Relate Search, we believe that fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s also good for business. With more than 1 in 4 Gen Z adults identifying as LGBTQIA+, and poised to make up 30% of the workforce by 2030, it's crucial to create inclusive workplaces. Poor LGBTQIA+ inclusion leads to lower engagement, higher turnover, and decreased innovation — costing businesses significantly. Read my latest blog on LGBTQIA+ inclusion for actionable steps to create a workplace where everyone can bring their whole selves to work: https://loom.ly/JS2i4d4. #Pride2024 #LGBTQIA #Inclusion #Diversity #WorkplaceInclusion #RelateSearch #DEI

🌈 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡: 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 🌈 June is Pride Month, a time to honour the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, celebrate their achievements, and recognize the ongoing journey toward equality and acceptance. As we raise our flags high and partake in the festivities, it's crucial to reflect on the importance of inclusion in our workplaces and beyond. Inclusion is not just about inviting everyone to the table; it's about ensuring every voice is heard, valued, and respected. This Pride Month, let's commit to fostering environments where diversity thrives and where everyone can be their authentic selves without fear of judgment or discrimination, both in our workplaces and in our personal lives. Here are some ways we can all contribute to a more inclusive world: 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬: Understanding the challenges and experiences of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community is a vital step toward empathy and allyship. Let's take the time to listen, learn, and grow. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬: Whether it's through policies, support groups, or open dialogue, let's ensure our workplaces are safe and welcoming for everyone. 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲: Recognize and celebrate the unique perspectives and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals. Diversity drives innovation and creativity, making our teams stronger. 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐔𝐩: Silence can be a barrier to progress. Stand up against discrimination and advocate for inclusive practices and policies. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝟐𝐒𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓𝐐𝐈𝐀+ 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Show your support by engaging with and promoting 2SLGBTQIA+ businesses, charities, and events. Inclusion is an ongoing journey, not a destination. This Pride Month, let's reaffirm our commitment to equality, diversity, and respect for all. As Pride Month unfolds, we see an array of brands changing their logos to vibrant rainbow colors, showcasing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community. While these visual gestures are appreciated, true allyship demands a deeper commitment. It’s time for companies to think beyond the surface and focus on embedding lasting change within their organizational culture. True allyship begins with cultivating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. It's essential to move from performative gestures to meaningful actions. This means implementing policies and practices that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout the organization. Allyship must be a year-round commitment, not just during Pride Month. Consistent engagement ensures that support for the LGBTQIA+ community is ingrained in the company’s ethos. By embedding these values into our workplace culture, we do more than create an inclusive environment—we set a precedent for others. Our actions can inspire other organisations and individuals to join us in the journey towards true equality and acceptance. Pride Month is a time to celebrate the progress we've made, but it's also a reminder of the work still to be done. Let's use this month as a catalyst for ongoing change, ensuring that our support for the LGBTQIA+ community is more than just a momentary gesture, but a sustained effort towards true equality. #PrideMonth🌈 #LGBTQIA #Allyship #Inclusion #Diversity

“Coming out at CoderPad was easy because I felt comfortable with the company culture and my colleagues.” - Kristen, a CoderPal (yes, that's what we call members of our team). Creating an inclusive culture in your tech company isn’t just about policy, it’s about everyday practices. Pride month may be over, but here’s how to ensure LGBTQ+ individuals feel truly included year round: ► Promote inclusive language ► Preferred pronouns ► Support identity changes ► Form employee resource groups ► Inclusive hiring ► Self-identification ► Inclusive health benefits ► Continuous education ► Celebrate and recognize Doing these things will help create a workplace where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. This is a win for everyone. You'll have a happier, more engaged team to drive innovation. Other ideas? What has your organization done to promote inclusivity? Share with us in the comments. #PrideMonth #HR #DEI

As we're in the midst of Pride month, I'd like to reflect on why Pride remains relevant in today's world. Despite the progress made in LGBTQIA+ rights, there are challenges that make Pride as essential as ever.🏳️🌈 Still, LGBTQIA+ individuals are facing discrimination, violence, and legal inequalities. In places that are well advanced in LGBTQIA+ rights and can be considered mostly safe, conservative movements are actively working to roll back hard-won rights and protections. This ongoing struggle highlights the need for Pride as a platform to advocate for equality and justice. While Pride month is a focal point, the commitment to diversity and inclusion must extend beyond June. Creating inclusive environments in workplaces, communities enhances well-being and drives innovation. By fostering empathy and understanding, we can break down prejudices and build a more equitable society. Very glad to be part of a company deeply committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and empowered to bring their whole selves. 🙏 Happy PRIDE everyone! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 Siemens PRIDE #TeamSiemens #diversity #inclusion

Hello LinkedIn community! This morning, our Sprint Reply team convened over our regular Tea & Toast gathering, where we share knowledge and boost our collective understanding on several topics. Today, we had an enlightening discussion on Pride, covered by our fantastic Anna Mercer. In a detailed walkthrough, Anna took us on a journey exploring the origins of the Pride event, a beacon of hope and celebration for the LGBTQ+ community worldwide. We explored key milestones from the historic Stonewall Riots to the modern-day legalisation of same-sex marriage. Anna's presentation reinforced the importance of Pride in not just celebrating, but also in raising awareness of key issues related to equal rights, acceptance and understanding, thereby highlighting our company's strong belief in diversity and inclusion. This was not just a presentation, it was an education, a reminder that we are all different and yet, fundamentally the same. At Sprint Reply UK, we're thrilled to engage in such important discussions, covering everything from cloud computing and AI to societal and cultural topics. It's through these valuable discussions we continue to grow as a company and as individuals. We'd like to express our gratitude to Anna Mercer for her excellent presentation and for helping us understand the importance of celebrating diversity and promoting inclusivity in our community. All in all, a toast to knowledge! #knowledgeSharing #TeamSprintReply #Pride #Inclusivity #Diversity #Tea&ToastKnowledgeSession
