Scaling across the 4th year! Reflecting on our journey here at Decentro, it is Incredible to see how far we have come from an idea in 2020. Bhavin's company Zeta India crossed Rs 800 Cr revenue in FY23 and turned profitable Zeta is designed for financial institutions, encompassing credit, DDA, prepaid, loans, savings, processing, authentication, and FRM solutions. It offers services such as credit and debit card processing, and APIs to operate natively within cloud-native apps. With a global presence in 7 countries, the firm generated 76% income from outside India. Zeta had turned unicorn in May 2021 following a $250 million round led by SoftBank. The company also raised $30 million from Mastercard at a valuation of $1.5 billion. Clearly Bhavin knows a thing or two about fintech companies and when he speaks, people listen. #API power has changed many businesses and opened new revenue streams. #BigTech were the first to harness this. We have likes of #Google and #Amazon, whose major business runs on API. The next frontiers were #FinancialServices , #Banking and #Healthcare . APIs have enabled these businesses to open new channels of services and #product delivery to customers. In #India , National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) 's #UPI has shown the power of API to the world, and now #ULI is also in offing. Similar initiatives are running all over the world and have changed mobile banking and payment landscape globally. Advent of #5G has opened similar avenues for #Telecom . A #business, whose functionalities have largely been inaccessible to app developers, due to lack of standard API interfaces. It is going to change now. #Ericcson 's joint venture with Telcos to sell #Network API is akin to #NPCI moment in Telecom Networking business at global scale. Although we all have been touched by networking business at multiple levels, lot of it's functions are very abstract and only accessible via large telcos (remember using only Bank's channel earlier for making payment or transfers).
