Had an awesome day at AgentForce London yesterday with my colleagues from AbsoluteLabs – imagine a room full of people wearing headphones with colored lights, like a silent disco but for AI talks! 🎧✨ One of the coolest highlights? Watching Saks take AI to the next level. A customer snapped a pic of a top she loved, and during a chat, the AI agent instantly recommended another piece based on the photo! 🤯 Talk about personalized shopping made easy! Also got to see how simple it is to train models now with Data Cloud and MuleSoft APIs. Just plug in new data, and you’re good to go. The Prompt Builder feature has also become a game-changer, giving you full control over how generative AI interacts with customers. Generative AI is clearly here to stay, and it’s exciting to see how it’s evolving across the Salesforce & MuleSoft platforms. The hottest news (IMHO) out of Dreamforce 2024 was the announcement of AgentForce, which is poised to be a major leap in autonomous AI for enterprise sales and service operations. Formerly known as Einstein Copilot, AgentForce is an upgraded version that promises to enable businesses to deploy AI agents that can analyze data, make decisions, and act without human intervention. The Saks Fifth Avenue demo showcased an AI agent, Sophie, that not only answered customer questions but also took actions like handling product exchanges and checking inventory—all without human involvement. At face value, I’m impressed. However, two important questions remain: 1. Do we have a GA date for AgentForce yet? Everything announced at Dreamforce is subject to Salesforce's notoriously lengthy safe harbor statement, so we might be waiting six months or more before this is truly in production. 2. Can Salesforce compete with established platforms like ServiceNow in the agentic AI space? ServiceNow has a head start, and it’ll be interesting to see how AgentForce distinguishes itself in this competitive landscape. #Dreamforce2024 #AgentForce #AI #Salesforce #eCommerceInnovation #FutureOfWork
