It’s not uncommon to hear about 5-6 interview rounds for entry-level positions. As a fresher everyone have their basic skills over. By working and involving in projects then only a person can develop their skills. By doing certifications and all we get logic over it but not every problem is same as we did. In every colleges students get guidance and brief data over subjects and all but lecturers didnt engage with every individual to check Every experienced person look for another role for increasing their capital but as a fresher we are just expecting a chance and training from the company which may helpful for freshers and also company development too. One thing I've observed is that freshers want a job but hesitate to put in extra effort. Recently, we went on the look out for interns for our Talent Acquisition and Recruitment team. We were open to hiring complete freshers, as long as they showed proactiveness, intellect, good communication, and a willingness to explore this domain for at least THREE months. When skills take a back seat, personality is what we focus on. We asked candidates to upload a ONE-minute introduction video with their application. This helps us assess their proactiveness, enthusiasm, and communication skills and allows them to express themselves beyond a traditional resume or cover letter. However, we noticed a significant drop in applicants, with 50% submitting resumes or random links instead of the video introduction. As per my understanding, this reluctance likely stems from the Fear Of Judgement. Being on video can make one feel vulnerable to criticism, which can hinder growth. Stepping out of one's comfort zone is crucial for personal and professional development. Embracing a video introduction can lead to greater self-awareness and a readiness to tackle new challenges. ⚠️ Freshers Alert: Not Every Interview Is Genuine! ⚠️ As freshers, we’re eager to jump into the workforce and grab opportunities. But sadly, not all interviews are what they seem. Some candidates are being exploited or misled by companies conducting false interviews with no real intent to hire. Here’s how to spot the red flags: No Clear Job Description: If the role remains vague even after multiple rounds of interviews, chances are the employer isn’t serious. Repeated ‘Trial Tasks’: Be cautious if you’re repeatedly asked to complete tasks or projects with no commitment from the employer. They might just be using your work for free! Overly Long Processes: While some companies have thorough processes, if you feel like you’re being strung along with no updates or closure, it might be a red flag.
