May the World Wide Web be created by people like YOU and ME in wise ways. In the land of social media... there are some apps moving through a change of leadership (like our country is through these weeks) with others being born... and in some recent reading, I found that the ones that do well in community cultivation (and niche community) will be where everyone ultimately settles. I had to circle around the Sun a few times before I found my bearings again in this sea of #socialmedia. I read somewhere that #Threads is good if you already have a community on there, and #Bluesky is good for distinct communities and building a community, similar to #Patreon. All 3 I have decided to join this year alone. The physical world is shifting, the online world is shifting... quicker than maybe we all can understand, which is okay, especially if it takes time to fully understand. It's important we take the time and arrive on the same page if we want to stay connected and make the change we wish to see. In my 35 years of being alive, I learned my Father in the 1990's wasn't sure if he could believe people saying "there will be computers in most homes" by now. Fast forward to 2024 and I, his and Jo's first born daughter, joined 3 new platforms this year alone. Now at the end of the year... we are meeting the upcoming season of Winter... where we find the change we begin now to take root in the coming months. This is the time to dream.There is a lot moving, shaking, changing in all of our lives... and I ask we may we find the people and spiritual practices that nourish our minds, bodies and souls during any change or healing we are experiencing and moving through.
