Tithes and offerings won't satisfy the financial needs of many churches any longer. This course prepares churches to adapt to the new economic landscape of the Church and take a deep look at resources, like property and land, to launch social enterprises as a new source of revenue while remaining connected to their community. Affordable housing is an option, but so are many other things: co-working spaces, performing arts spaces, cooking schools using your commercial kitchen, and cafes; the list is almost limitless. Good Futures is well-researched, tested, and proven effective. Unlock your church's imagination and increase your value to your neighbors.

What happens when a church goes from plateauing or declining to growing by reaching lost people? Every church that is growing needs to be thinking about multiplying. This is how we quadruple our impact. A church that grows needs to be multiplying in three ways. https://ow.ly/NOur50Rny2m

United for a Purpose... "Only a church united can bring healing and hope to nation divided." - Doug Stringer - The task is greater than we can accomplish alone. - Together we can have a greater Kingdom impact. I believe that our nation's 4.6 million first responders, and their families, is the greatest UNSEEN mission field in our country today. The problems we see across the country: 1️⃣ Isolation - among all who have a heart to reach them for Christ. 2️⃣ Discouragement – from little to no support, fruit, or examples to follow. 3️⃣ Lack of Awareness – for the first responder culture and the need to reach them for Christ, for what other ministries, chaplains, and churches are doing well, and for how first responders and their families can live out their faith. We believe a national networking conference and this alliance, has the opportunity to do what has never been done before, and begin to address these gaps within the body of Christ. September 20-21, 2024 in Chattanooga, TN. Don't miss this opportunity. Learn more and register online today: https://lnkd.in/eFGF58Xu #firstresponder #realhope #missionfirstalliance

Many Christians express a level of frustration with their giving. "It feels more like checking a box than experiencing an intimate moment with Christ," they say. Join me as I share a profound conversation with Todd Harper, co-founder of Generous Giving, where we explore how to make the shift from checking-the-box giving, to living a joy-filled life of outrageous generosity. https://lnkd.in/gCDvipad

Every month I get the privilege of facilitating cohorts with some incredible leaders from organizations around the country on best principles, practices and postures of church engagement. Basically, we talk about how nonprofits can most effectively cultivate trust-based and mutually beneficial relationships with churches. We discuss a variety of topics, all within the big, overarching theme of this one thing: We are FOR the Church, not merely trying to get FROM the Church. That shift in posture creates an avalanche of implications on the ways that we approach, communicate with and invite churches into next steps. If you are a church leader, you know - this is not the norm of how nonprofits often approach you. They historically have had a FROM posture - we need your people, your time, your money, your pulpit, your bulletin...and your church van while we're at it! :) In May we're pausing those cohorts and hosting a webinar that will dive deeper into a particular aspect of church engagement that is especially compelling and provides a framework of thinking that becomes critically important to maintaining that FOR posture all the more. If this at all resonates with you and the work you do, I'd love to have you join us.
