It gave me the joy of failure when my effort in forcing virtual networking got beaten instantly by the smiling, talking and debating when my whole cluster met in person last week. As a cluster lead, I am conscious that I might have a false sense of how together we are because I speak to every team and every member all the time. As a former virtual hub lead, I also take for granted that colleagues should have everything required for delivering and feeling happily working together virtually. It has been an interesting journey to see how this paradigm evolves for myself through and over the pandemic. This is a new cluster since January this year. Many junior colleagues are accumulating work as well as life experience. They have not had a lot of human interactions (from a middle-age point of view) let alone professional ones. Those who had mastered the past norm, me included, have part of our skills washed away by the pandemic. We are relearning how to express our thoughts and listen to understand in plain language. I am very proud of my teammates who have come with open minds and hearts. They have taught me new angles and challenged my status quo. The connection we have made builds a strong foundation for any twist and turns of business and life. #NARA #inittogether #courage #excellence #equity #joy #pfecolleagues #Hongkong #Macau #Malaysia #Brunei #Thailand #Cambodia #Laos #Myanmar #regulatory #pharmaceutical
