As we move into 2024 and beyond, we need to prepare students, especially students of color, in the emerging technologies like AI, ML, VR/AR, Robotics, Data Engineering and Content Creation and other STEM / STEAM fields that will be most effected by them. Like Healthcare, Art and eSports / Game Design. The world of work & technology are changing at light speed. It's time that schools do the same. That is the mission of the 'Hidden Potential Project' - To unearth the hidden potential that lies in the underserved, undereducated, underpowered, under-resourced, underestimated, and overlooked. It truly is about stepping up and stepping in, where needed, and these professionals did today for us. We look forward to working with them again and others that have the passion and purpose to help educate those that need the help the most. We believe it will take more than a great STEM education for young people to discover their 'Greatness'. It' going to take 'Chararter' to use it. Real Talk.

My study focuses on the merging of two areas: software product line and educational game development. Hi LinkedIn! I wanted to share my Macaulay senior paper titled “Methods in Solving the Transportation Problem”: The transportation problem is a specific type of linear programming optimization problem aimed at finding the optimal transportation plan to minimize total cost for the distribution of materials from a set of source locations to numerous destinations. Utilization of this mathematical model has become a major contributor to the field of operations research and logistical planning within industry, with practical applications in public transit scheduling and Amazon package delivery, among many others. In the paper, I discuss the history which lead to linear programming as a prominent area of study and present the three most common methods of finding an initial solution to any transportation problem through a sample example I designed which highlights each method’s advantages. Then, I approach the optimization phase using the Stepping Stone Method, an iterative process that takes us from any initial solution to the optimal solution. I conclude my paper with an open question: Can we quantify the comparative performance of each method for problems of different sizes by producing probability models that predict the number of iterations required to reach the optimal solution? Seeking advice on how to approach undertaking this analysis… I imagine the first step would be finding/writing a program for each method to run the experiments. STEM2 Hub seeks to ensure that all students can engage in high-quality experiences that will open doors to future #STEM careers. Like DigiU Tech Labs, the Hub aims to expand accelerated skill sets for students who traditionally lack access and opportunity to "relevant technologies", ie. mechanization, software development, and big data analysis...to compete in today's tech-savvy workforce. Each year through 2024, five schools will be selected in FPL’s service area to receive the $50,000 grant. The grants are intended to provide transformational learning opportunities for Black students in classroom settings, as all recipient schools are comprised of at least 25% Black students. The Classroom Makeover Grant program directly addresses needs in infrastructure, technology or resources (i.e., software, equipment, books, training of teachers, tutors, and paraprofessionals)." “Our STEM Classroom Makeover Grant allows us to invest in our next generation to help provide transformational learning opportunities for Black students in a STEM classroom setting,” said Pamela Rauch, vice president of external affairs and economic development for FPL. “We are excited that these projects will be one of the first, as we complete our inaugural year of implementing this grant, which allows us to support both educators and students, our next generation of leaders.” STEM2 Hub has been engaged to administer FPL’s robotics sponsorship program, which supports dozens of clubs and thousands of STEM fans throughout FPL’s 43-county service territory. Morning Everyone! I just wanted to say thank you to those who have responded to me directly in private messages in relation to my previous post concerning what has now become Quantum Works TNT! I understand a persons deepest thoughts are also their most private of thoughts that ever can be, everyone, for you's, I wish to assure that for your private thoughts and private insights are among my private thoughts and insights! Speaking of private thoughts and insights and their pertaining to my quantum ongoing private (SR&ED) research / project development, has started to harden here with tentacles tracing off into many things such as energy in all its states from generative to production, storage and transfer not in any particular order being a main thick branching out, also a tentacle of compression of everything and I have compression here now after only a very few days at it and where you have compression you also have work, heat, energy, for certainly propulsion. Additionally something somewhat very new I don't know exactly what it is and I don't know at all what to even call it but I know it's important I've just a feel of it, it is coming together of many things multi axis. My second round of things in 2009 concerning the old larger physics took shape when it also reached multi axis thought levels. The thing that's very different now with things and all things physics no matter what realm of physics is that back in 1995 thought things were pretty cool and slick for having computer processing and storage, in 2009 thought things even cooler and slicker for having more advanced software capacities and increased coding and programming capabilities. This dawning morning here this morning with this now gone quantum and things emerging on as fast a rate as they are here, like the squeezing of pimples using (SR&ED) as a gentle squeezing vice over what is yet only days of work not even weeks, months or years which Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) is to natural phenomenons using theoretical physics the work holding piece, nature and Natural Reality the work piece. So extremely different, massively now important this morning and should also be to anyone still sleeping yet not in the west and terrible to comprehend its level of difficult importance is, I have artificial intelligence here in my fingertips now. When it comes to leveling I have years of study and serious work experience when it comes to leveling of things both small, like theodolites and big such as entire giant industrial paper mill industrial complexes. Here I see artificial intelligence the new theodolite leveling instrumentation of global playing fields when it comes to everything that happens tomorrow. Results equal level theodolites! Strong determination leads to success

Most of the developments in LLMs are moving towards building lightweight models with improved benchmarks then larger ones.... Phi-3 mini which is 3.8 billion parameters size performs better than the model with twice it's size... in fact Phi-3-small and Phi-3-medium outperform much larger models, including GPT-3.5T... Smaller models are 👉 Cheaper, 👉 Have low latency, 👉 Easier to manage and fine tune with less compute these models can be more practical options for companies having model response latency as one of the top metrics... would be interesting to see more such developments in byte size models, which can open up use cases for edge computing...

Being able to reliably output json and a 128k context is big step up for such a small model. It's never been easier to dial in a workflow using AI to process sensitive information with local compute.

Workflow Description: 1) University Sign-Up: Universities must first sign up on our system. 2) HEC Approval: HEC will either approve or reject the university's request. 3) University Access: Once approved, the university can use the system. 4) Degree Request Submission: The university submits a degree request to HEC. 5) HEC Decision: HEC can either approve or reject the degree request. 6) NFT Degree Issuance: The university can issue the degree as an NFT if approved by HEC. 7) Verification: Anyone can verify the NFT degree using its token ID. 8) Feedback and Complaints: The public can leave feedback or complaints to 9) HEC or any registered university through the system.
