Have you had the opportunity to check out our 2023 Insights Report yet? Another significant finding highlighted in our report is the importance of soft skills. As part of our research, we asked our apprentices to identify three skills they have developed during their apprenticeship programme so far. Beyond the essential technical knowledge specific to their jobs, many apprentices noted the improvements in their communication and confidence levels since starting their apprenticeship journey with GLP Training. While apprenticeships are primarily designed to provide qualifications in specific fields of study, our programmes at GLP Training go beyond this. We foster transferable soft skills that have a lasting impact beyond the apprenticeship period. It's gratifying to see our apprentices recognising this aspect. Don't let a timeline fool you into thinking that an #apprenticeship takes too long! A #registeredapprenticeship is a #job from day one. The apprentice works along side experienced workers and a mentor who show them how to do different tasks, so they begin to be productive very early in the training process. #apprenticeshipworks #skillsdevelopment #talentdevelopment #talentpipeline
