The Dark Night Online | The imminent 3D PRINTING DANGER - “The FGC-9 is a semiautomatic weapon that can be assembled with a commercial 3-D printer and some metalworking skills. Here’s how The New York Times linked the FGC-9 to terrorists, drug dealers and rebels in at least 15 countries and tracked down a main figure responsible for the gun design and its increasing popularity.” For the last few months I have been sharing insights into DIY technologies including components and 3D printing kits that literally ‘make’ dangerous tools for crime and terrorism. These tools for malfeasance are not theoretical, they are being assembled by threat actors right here at home to commit crime Downunder. Criminals are leap frogging regulatory controls with use of 3D printing, including the DIY manufacture of flipper style mobile technologies purpose built to compromise federal and state security facilities to result in hacks and breaches. In USA a data storage facility that protects biometric identity data and law enforcement databases has already been compromised. However, of deep concern is the use of this tech to compromise public safety and in particular, target vulnerable citizens. One use case is a signal blocker than can block car remote control signals from unlocking a car. A woman could attempt to use a vehicle remote to unlock and access a vehicle for personal safety only to find that signal and vehicle access would be blocked. Leaving that woman locked outside her car and vulnerable to assault. This is forensically undetectable. This technology and the assembly components needs to be regulated. The Dark Night Online “Animals Like Us” podcast will share stories as spoken by victims of complex crime in an interview format. Anonymous victims will each speak to the often controversial details of their victim experience. Anonymity is enabled by AI animal avatars. Voices are changed through post production editing. Episodes are in production right now. The series opens a door to examine the failure of advocacy agencies, moral and technical corruption and bias that just shouldn’t occur, and looks into the broader victim experience of government institution’s, the justice system, and failures among ombudsmen and the police complaints process. Law enforcement personnel often echo victim concerns, the series will give a voice law enforcement officers who also want to see changes made to the justice system. In reality, law enforcement needs public support more than ever to lobby for improved resourcing. The aim is to identify those resource gaps. And help them. However, today I am writing about a case in which three Australian family members have died from a lack of funds for medical care. This relates to stolen medical care funds in a financial fraud case that has been solved, the criminals caught and yet no restitution whatsoever to the victims. The issue here is a lack of accountability in the etiquette of communication and the handling of seized assets. This occurs against the backdrop of systemic justice system failures due to identity attribution standards that lawyers and the public want improved. Standards for prosecution that are outdated and that may be leading to unattributed recovered victim funds being absorbed in justice department budgets that are not audited. Law enforcement are often as frustrated as the victims. Q: Is it the bosses and ministers who are causing systemic pain through an unwillingness to face feedback? While on the phone to this Australian family listening to their story, the family shares they have lost funds for medical care and this has led to the loss of three family members. Three people have died with no sense of urgency by the AFP. The evidence already provided assisted a USA based criminal prosecution. The criminal had been caught and processed through the USA justice system. 18 months later no communication whatsoever from the Australian Federal Police. AFP publicly promotes proactivity, but according to the victims, AFP privately behaves otherwise.

The Dark Night Online | #UK #FRAUD VICTIM SUPPORT REDUCTION: In a bizarrely adverse and perverse step for victims of banking fraud, the apparently corporate and bank friendly UK payments regulator is seeking to reduce victim support and wind back the financial accountability of the UK Banking industry. "The Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) said it was calling an eleventh-hour, 14-day consultation on the proposed lower cap after a review found only 18 instances in more than 250,000 involved people being scammed for more than 415,000 pounds - and 411 cases involving more than 85,000 pounds." "APP fraud, when criminals trick people into transferring money to them, accounted for around 460 million pounds of losses in 2023, a 5% fall from 2022. But the volume of scams rose by 12% to 232,429 cases last year, data from bank lobby group UK Finance shows. Banks and payments companies currently reimburse APP fraud victims on a voluntary basis. Last year, TSB (SABE.MC), reimbursed 88% of customer losses, while Ireland's AIB (AIBG.I), refunded only 9%, the PSR says." "But Catherine Hammerson-Jones, a partner at law firm Rosenblatt, questioned whether the lower reimbursement cap would be enough to motivate banks to have better, more sophisticated, more robust fraud monitoring systems. "My view is that the compensation should be kept high to protect victims and to keep the bank on its highest alert to avoid paying the compensation in the first place," she said." The Dark Night Online | The mechanics and engineering of DISCREET COVERT CRIMINAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION | in *previous posts I have talked about how flipper technology is being used by criminals to intercept cellular networks and phish / infiltrate civilian data. The opposite also applies. (*I have explained how security personnel need to be aware of RFID building access card skimming, and how domestic violence experts need to be aware that DIY flippers can be used to block car remote signals to lock women out of their cars and make women vulnerable to violent attacks. Most garage doors can be opened remotely and security cameras disabled.) LoRa and NTN LoRaWAN networks enable bypass of 4G/5G monitoring. LoRa is typically used for local area networks and broadcasts up to around 10kms. Then is daisy chained in a series by MESH repeaters. Typically, LoRa is deployed for Internet of Things (IoT) remote trigger applications. LoRa also now connects local terrestrial LoRa (Long Range) broadcast kits, to satellite non terrestrial. What does this mean? Unregulated, 3D printed, DIY global communications networks can now be assembled without regulation or monitoring. It is now possible for criminal networks to DIY 3D print and create global communications architecture that (typically) isn’t being monitored.

FATHERS DAY DOWNUNDER | PROXY MURDER: Is PARENTAL ALIENATION killing men? Today is a good day to reconsider how we perceive the sad statistics that some have shared in the 2.4 daily deaths of dads that occurs in Australia on average. PROXY MURDER: The links between SUICIDE and PARENTAL ALIENATON: https://lnkd.in/g-jjT5iU Alienated dads all too frequently resort to dealing with psychological abuse and trauma by ending their own lives. Self-harm as the only way out of the endless torture of parental alienation, financial abuse and bullying. I advocate for women who experience domestic violence (75% of DMV (Domestic Violence) is perpetrated by men on women), there is low advocacy for men who are the victims of women (25% of DMV is perpetrated by women). We tend to forget the lesser figure of 25% of male deaths. Why do we 'culturally' overlook that women kill men? One woman is killed by DMV every 11 days. One man is killed by DMV every 91 days. Almost a 10 to 1 female to male death ratio. That's why. As we look deeper into causative factors of overall deaths we uncover disturbing male death statistics in media. e.g. 2.4 men die per day, largely due to DMV alienation. 1 woman dies every 11 days, due to direct DMV by man. The suicide ratio in Australia in 2022: https://lnkd.in/gmty8Urx 2455 men 794 women Whether we believe women coerce men or not, more men die. Death by suicide is not considered a homicide. This is a taboo subject to talk about. While suicide coercion laws which apply to online are rightfully being legislated to protect women online, there is significant bias against men who are driven to kill themselves, with no recourse or remedy for the instances of female abuse that results in men killing themselves. This non-inclusion of male deaths by suicide is considered culturally acceptable. Those men are considered mentally ill as a norm. Without consideration for the causative social injustice or abuse factors. Abusive behaviours by women are culturally accepted as fair play in the context of the disproportionate numbers of men murdering women and so, the suicides of these dads which occurs due to abuse by women is largely ignored. UK legislators view parental alienation as slow form of psychological torture that is intended to weaponize access to children and financial burdens to commit harm. At issue is that as a society we blame victims, we don't remedy societal injustice causes. We label social injustice responses as mental health issues, and yet most deaths occur due to broken systems that push both men and women to the edge. This 'edge' is exacerbated by income inequality, cost of living crisis, housing shortages, expensive legal processes that no one can afford and broken administrative systems that focus on dollars and not on dignity.
