Last week, GM Defense had the distinct honor of hosting four Medal of Honor Recipients and members of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society at the GM Defense Manufacturing and Customer Innovation Center (MCIC) in Concord, NC. The event began with a flag-raising ceremony at MCIC, followed by a tour of the facility and a ride-and-drive with the Infantry Squad Vehicle. Throughout the day, the Recipients also had the opportunity to experience the GM Defense Heavy-Duty Sport Utility Vehicle, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and the GMC HUMMER EV on the Charlotte Motor Speedway track before visiting our suuplier, Hendrick Motorsports, for lunch and a tour. As a final stop, the Recipients toured the General Motors Charlotte Technical Center, including a chance to test a static simulator. We extend our gratitude to all of our teammates who made this memorable day possible and look forward to strengthening our partnership with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
