Happy 95th Birthday to my incredible Mother-In-Law! 🎂 After going flying in a 2-person light aircraft when she turned 91 perhaps a birthday picnic was a little tame 😊 however we had a great time and visited the fascinating Moira Furnace in Derbyshire https://lnkd.in/eYrMPsPB As well as plans for the future, the day was filled with reminiscences… This led to a (lengthy) conversation about all the technological, scientific and medical advancements she has lived through so far. Curator & Creator 💡: #Multifamily Week In Review on LinkedIn | Proptech Evangelist 👏🏼 | Creative Sales & Marketing Strategist/Innovator 🧠 | Professional Public Speaker & Performer 🎤
It’s the week AFTER a week at NAA’s APARTMENTALIZE… a perfect time to review the related trending content here on LinkedIn: The Art of Philadelphia: Shots of the conference all around the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, photo ops with the Love and Rocky statues, center city murals and an amazing NAA party at Philadelphia Museum of Art. 🎨 The Art of the Selfie: Booth, speaker-prep, Rocky steps and networking selfies trended BIG; Adrian, Dana, Moshe & Tara are among the many who have perfected this art. 🤳 The Art of the Orator: Lots of content praising some of the polished presenters like Stephanie & Lisa; and lots of podcast posts at NAA—including Multifamily Media Network’s networking & podcasting event. 🎤 The Art of the Announcement: Apartemtnalize was leveraged as an annoucement platform: Entrata bought Colleen AI to introduce Eli, MRI Software launched ENGAGE; folks announced new roles at new companies, including Sydney at Venn & Matt at Hyly.AI … and all the growth for the Resi team. 📢 The Art of Authenticty: Important information AND representation from NAA affinity groups (Femmes, Once a Warrior, Melanin, Latinas, Hispanos & Q Space); compelling sessions that ranged from mental health awareness to dealing with imposter syndrome to understanding neurodivergent behavior. 💙 The Art of the Revolutionary: Lots of buzz around the agnostic proptech room that Tamela Coval🌞 curated (were you in it when it happened?); a major uptick in wellness activities; and one of the best put-together Start-Up Zones I’ve seen at NAA. The Art of the Recap: I’m seeing almost as many “recap” posts as “I’m attending” posts this year…a great sign for the industry. Tons of take aways from both Apartemtnalize veterans and first timers like Ashley Stran. And you really should check out the stellar recap from Joani Schumaker📶. ♻️ I definitely didn’t perfect the art of the recap… …what Apartemtalize content did I miss on LinkedIn that is a must to check out? Drop it in the comments below…👇🏼 …and see you Friday! #multifamily #naa #apartmentalize #mfweekinreview

Architect & Earth-centred Design Strategist. Make systemic shifts happen in the Built Environment sector through meaningful design practice, community engagement, and co-design.
Who would have imagined that an empty department store building would transform into a vibrant centre for environmental movements, creativity, events, sustainable fashion & products, artists, and more, adding vibrancy to Bristol's tapestry? (And all done using temporary set design structures WITHOUT drilling holes into the existing building! 😅 ) The journey with Sparks Bristol has been remarkable, and these awards are well-deserved recognition! Furthermore, projects like Sparks Bristol has value beyond measure. Its significance extends beyond mere utility and taking up an unused space. "Meanwhile" signifies an opportunity to trial ideas, collaborate with landlords and councils, often rejuvenating weary parts of cities with a burst of creativity. It's not merely about increasing property value and displacing "meanwhile" users, although this unfortunately tends to occur. Instead, it's about ensuring that successful ideas are retained, vital for the revitalisation and evolution of the city's essence. #artspace #lifespace Artspace Lifespace Global Goals Centre THE INVISIBLE CIRCUS COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY #meanwhileuse #development #citycentre #highstreet #regeneration #environment #sustainable #architecture #bristol #bristolproperty
